Simon Hurley Create. Trampoline Friends

Hi! In today's video I'm sharing a few tips and tricks for creating easy scene cards with Simon Hurley Create. products. I stick to clean and simple card designs so I don't create scenes very often. I hope you'll be inspired by this fun Trampoline Friends card!

I stamped the large tree image from the Simon Hurley Create. Trampoline Friends stamp set on the right side of a piece of Stark White Cardstock. I like to use large images when I create scenes because they take up a lot of the background so I can keep the rest of the design simple. I stamped a few other images and a sentiment onto another piece of Stark White Cardstock and colored in my images with alcohol markers and trimmed them out with my scissors.

I used some purple tape to mask off about an inch from the bottom of my card front and blended some Later Gator ink at the bottom for my grass. I colored the tree a dark brown, so I just went ahead and blended the Later Gator ink right over the tree and didn't worry about masking it off. I used a blending brush and some Clear Skies ink to add blobs of blue ink to the background. This gives the illusion of a cloudy sky. It's one of my favorite scene building tricks!

I added the trampoline to my card with liquid adhesive and the critters and sentiment strips with foam tape for some dimension. I hope you love this cute little card! See you soon!
