Sum More Fun Holiday Glow | Three Vintage No Coloring Classic Christmas Cards

I just had to mix together a couple of stamp sets to create this card! I love this large window and I thought it would be cute to create a simple Christmas Eve scene. 

My last card is fun sized! Right in between a slimline and A2 - this card is 3.5 x 8.5 and the lamppost fits perfectly!

Sassy and Crafty | Glitzy Stenciled Goodness

Hi! I have one more post as a guest designer for Sassy and Crafty! I mixed up the Sweet as a Honeybee Stamp Set and the Honeycomb Stencilwith some ink blending and Glitzing!

Let's start with the background. I wanted to add some fancy to my background, so I decided to do a double stenciled background!

I used the Honeycomb Stencil and masked off the portion with the small repeating hexagons and stenciled a yellow ink across my card. The pattern isn't large enough to cover the entire card front, so I removed my stencil, shifted it down, and stenciled again. I probably ( definitely ) didn't have to do this, but I wasn't sure where my Glitz would end, so I figured better safe than sorry.

I replaced the Honeycomb Stencil over the bottom portion of my ink blended card and added some Glitz Glitter Gel over the top. I let it fade out towards the middle of the card so that I didn't have a distinguished "stop line."

Now it's time to bring on the honeybees! I stamped out the bees, flowers, sentiments, etc. from the Sweet as a Honeybee Stamp Set and colored them with Copic Markers and cut them out with scissors. I added them on my card with foam tape - because everything is better with dimension!

Sassy and Crafty Guest Designer | Sweet as a Honeybee

Hey, everyone! I'm a guest designer for Sassy and Crafty for the month of July and I couldn't be more excited about it! I'm using the new Sweet as a Honeybee Stamp Set and Sailor Stripe Stencil for my card!

The Sweet as a Honeybee stamp set is just amazing! I'm a sucker for bees - cutesty style or realistic! And this stamp set has a bunch of extras - little honeycomb hexagons, bee trails, a bee house, and SO MANY SENTIMENTS! Seriously SO MANY SENTIMENTS! That makes my sentiment loving heart so happy! I started by using the Sailor Stripe Stencil along with some yellow ink to create a bright striped background for my little bee scene.

I used the Sweet as a Honeybee Stamp Set to stamp out a bunch of images for my card. I stamped the hexagons three times, the bee house, some flowers and leaves, a couple of bees, the little trails, and a honey drip! I love that the images are all small and easy to color so that I can add a bunch to my card without having it look too busy. I colored each of my images with Copic Markers and trimmed them out with scissors and arranged them on my card.

Have I mentioned that there are a bunch of sentiments in this stamp set? Haha! I stamped out a sentiment and trimmed it and added it to the top of the card. I used a glitter pen to add glitter highlights to each stripe and various parts of the hexagon pieces. And the card is done! Trinity Stamps | Birthday YouTube Video Hop

Over the next 3 days you're going to get a bunch of slimline birthday celebration inspiration using products from Trinity Stamps! I used the Sweet Surprise Stamp Set, the Slimline Scalloped Card Panels and Banners Die Set, and the Slimline Layered Confetti Stencil Set - some of my favorites! I'll give you a quick run down of my card here, but be sure to head over to YouTube to watch my video for the full tutorial!

I die cut the largest scalloped die from the Slimline Scalloped Card Panels and Banners Die Set from Bristol Smooth Cardstock so that I could do a bit of coloring with Arteza Real Brush Pens. I stamped the large cupcake from the Sweet Surprise Stamp Set four times across the panel and heat embossed them with gold powder. Cupcakes should be golden and shiny, right?! I used the small sprinkles stamps to fill in the frosting and heat embossed them as well. Then I colored them with bright rainbow colors!

I wanted to fill in some of the white space behind the cupcakes, so I masked off the four cupcakes and grabbed the Slimline Layered Confetti Stencils. This is a stencil set so that you can easily have muti colored confetti!

The Slimline Scalloped Card Panels and Banners Die Set has a few different style of banners. I love the one that is slightly curved! And BONUS! It fit my sentiment PERFECTLY! I slightly curved the sentiment so that it would follow the curve of the banner and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the Sweet Surprise Stamp Set and added the banner to my card with foam tape.

I die cut a piece of heavy weight cardstock with the largest die in the Slimline Scalloped Card Panels and Banners Die Set and scored it at about a half of an inch and used strong double sided tape to adhere the front panel onto the scored panel. This gives me a slimline card that has the scalloped detail all around it and the stitched details on the inside as well!

InkOn3 My Little Catfish Shaker Card

Hey, everyone! I'm back with my second guest design post for InkOn3! I'm using the smaller images from the My Little Catfish stamp set to stamp up a background and create a cute shaker card!

I used my MISTI to line up both the large and small seahorses, the two shells, and the tiny little catfish. I stamped them repeatedly across my card using InkOn3 Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink. I colored them in with my dye inks and my Dove Blender pen by simply picking up color with my blender pen and coloring the images - starting with the areas of darkest color first and blending out to the lighter areas. I kept my colors "traditional" nautical and on the masculine side. I get requests for masculine cards all the time and honestly - they're my nemesis! Once all my images were colored I added some Liquid Pixie Dust to each image - it's difficult to see from behind the shaker, but in real life it's pretty awesome! I find it's easiest to use Liquid Pixie Dust when I add it to a Small Fine Tip Water Brush Pen and just brush it over my images. I build my sentiment from the My Little Catfish stamp set and stamped it below my colored images with InkOn3 Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink.

I created my shaker by die cutting a scalloped frame and ink blended some navy ink onto it to keep with my nautical theme. I added acetate, a bunch of gems and sequins, and two layers of foam tape and added it onto my card.

Guest Designing for InkOn3

Hello everyone! I just can't believe that I'm a guest designer for InkOn3 this month! I am so honored and excited! This is my first project, but I'll have another later this month! Yay!

The My Little Catfish stamp set from InkOn3 is too adorable for words! The largest catfish image has three separate faces so you can give your catfish different expressions! What a FABULOUS idea! I created two cards with one basic layout and idea.

I used a pale pink ink to stamp the tiny and medium catfish images from the My Little Catfish stamp set all over my background. I stamped the large catfish image and her little face with the FABULOUS Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink. This ink is SO amazing! It's so dark and crisp and dries instantly! I colored her in with alcohol markers.

I cut out a scallop oval frame and added some light inking to make the frame pop, stamped a coordinating sentiment with the Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink, and finished off the card by adding some Liquid Pixie Dust over the catfish and oval die cuts. I'm so OBSESSED with Liquid Pixie Dust! So shimmery! And I added it into a Small Fine Tip Waterbrush Pen to make it super easy to add to my project!

I wasn't sure how I would like the soft pink stamped background, so I created a second background with a slightly darker pink ink. Even though I liked the first background I decided to create a second card since I had the supplies on my desk!

Craftin Desert Divas Yeti Fur Coffee!

Hi! I have a third project using the Yeti Fun stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas! This set is so adorable! I'm in love with the cute images!

You all know that I love to create my own backgrounds...and I also love polka dots! I used round ink blender tools from Ranger and started with white pigment ink all over a piece of kraft cardstock. Then I grabbed some Distress Inks - Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Mustard Seed, and Twisted Citron - and pushed the ink over top of the white ink. So easy to make your own dotted background!

I stamped the sentiment and embossed it with black powder and added the two smallest rectangles from the Inside Out Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die set. I added the Copic colored image with foam squares and boom! All done! I just love this one!

Concord & 9th #FeatureFriday - Dahlia Turnabout

Hello! I can't believe it's already my last guest design post for Concord & 9th! This month has FLOWN by! Today I'm using the Dahlia Turnabout. This is my absolute FAVORITE from the November release. I've always been a fan of the turnabout stamps and I love that this one is smaller! I made a bunch of projects again, so let's get started!

Let's start with one of my favorites, shall we? This card is such a happy accident! This is the first time that a turnabout stamp has come with a matching die and I love it! I was messing around with the die trying different techniques - what it looked like cutting once or all four times, etc. I was stacking up all of my scrap pieces in a pile and my husband walked by and commented how cool my new card was! Little did he know he was looking at my garbage pile! But lo and behold...he was right! So I stacked up all of my pieces and added a happy die cut from the Bits & Pieces stamp set!

I love how it looks like one of those layering dies that are all the rage right now!

For this card I stamped the dahlia image four times and white heat embossed the image. Then I watercolored over the top with Gansai Tambi colors. I added about 5 layers of color because I wanted the image to really pop. I heat embossed the greeting and added some Nuvo drops!

This was actually the first time I stamped this image and again it was just me messing around and practicing! I loved the color combo so much that I made it into a card! The sentiment is from Bits & Pieces stamp set and added some Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I loved my other watercolored card so much that I did another version! I love the little pops of black!

Tis the season for stretching stamps to be Christmas stamps!! My original plan was to do a trio of dahlias, but I thought the card wouldn't be balanced if I did a third dahlia image. Instead, I pulled out the large merry and bright sentiment from the Ornamental stamps and added it where I had planned to stamp another dahlia!

This one is a little different - instead of stamping the image I used the coordinating die cut all four times and used the piece as a stencil! I added some of my favorite Distress Inks to create a gradient of color. I love how it turned out! I stamped the sentiment in a coordinating color and added some clear shimmer Nuvo drops.

I made a shaker card with the Bits & Pieces bundle last week and I loved how the red beads looked with gold glitter paper! I wanted to try it again - but with a twist! Instead of creating a shaker card I spread a puddle of glue onto a piece of cardstock and added enough beads to cover the glue. I LOVE the texture! It's like a peek-a-boo card with an insane amount of texture!

I just love love LOVE it!!

While I was glueing things down I thought I would make a non holiday version! And of course I had to include a rainbow - so why not a rainbow of sequins!!?!? I put down lines of glue and added colorful sequins to fit behind the turnabout die cut.

If you look close you can see that some of those red beads got stuck in my card! Ah! They are so tiny I didn't even realize! Oh well...they kind of look like they were added on purpose! :)
