Hello! Hooray for another ThermOWeb collaboration! This week we've teamed up with The Rabbit Hole Designs! This company is near and dear to my heart. I was one of girls on their first team of designers and I loved working with them! I used Masking Magic and some Terrific Tape so that I could mix Deco Foil Metallix Gel with some Gold Deco Foil to make a fabulous pumpkin card!
I used two widths of Gina K Designs Terrific Tape to add some Gold Deco Foil stripes above and below the stenciling for additional shine. I colored the pumpkins from the Gourd-geous and Pumpkin Friends stamp sets and added them to my card. So pretty, don't you think?! Thanks for joining me!
I white heat embossed some flowers and stems from the Pretty in Peony stamp set onto vellum and trimmed them out with my scissors. I grabbed a piece of mint cardstock from my stash and glued them onto the front. I thought my background needed something more, so I blended on some Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink around the edges and added some flicks of water. I added a black sentiment strip to finish the card.
This design is so clean and elegant! I can see it being used for a wedding card! See you soon!
Hi, everyone! Sometimes I look at a stamp set and have trouble deciding which fabulous image to use! So when that happens I use them all! Haha! I used the Beach Day stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs to create a simple comic strip style card!
I have been DYING to use the Lacey's DIY Window Dies since I got them! I arranged the window dies into a pattern and cut them from a piece of kraft cardstock and backed it with a dark teal/blue cardstock.
I stamped and colored a bunch of images from the Beach Day stamp set with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and arranged them on my card front.
I stamped the flowers and a leafy stem from the Pretty in Peony stamp set and watercolored them with my Gansai Tambi Starry Colors watercolors. I used a mix of the white gold and red gold to create some depth of color. These watercolors are SO shimmery! The photos don't do it justice!
I added the flowers onto a piece of watercolor patterned paper and scattered some pearls around the card. I just LOVE the shimmery watercolor! I wanted to keep it the focal point of this card!
I started by stamping and gold heat embossing some flowers and stems from the Pretty in Peony stamp set and then I used my Prima Watercolor set to color them in. I added flicks of gold watercolor to the background.
I heat embossed the sentiment three times and added the strips to my card with foam squares. Some pink pearls from The Ink Road finishes off the card! I hope this card inspires you!

I made two cards using the Pretty in Peony stamp set - and I have videos for both! How exciting, right!
My first card may look a little familiar to you! I made a similar card with squishy watercolor circles for the last release from TRHD and so many of you asked me for a video tutorial that I decided to recreate the background on camera!
Since the background is so colorful I decided to color the peonies white. And besides - I just LOVE white flowers! Here's my process video!
For my second card I decided to share a quick faux watercolor technique. It's certainly not new, but it's one of my favorites! I stamped and white heat embossed my images from the Pretty in Peony stamp set and added Distress Inks and then spritzed them with some water mixed with Perfect Pearls. A super easy way to create the look of watercoloring!
I cut out the images and added them to a die cut background! I have a video for this one, too!

Let's start with my cards featuring the By the Shore stamp set! I decided to create two cards and keep one simple and add some flair to the other! I came up with five ways to "step up" a stenciled card.
My first card is fairly simple - but I love the way the girl's coral dress pops against the gray! I used a beach scene stencil and blended some gray ink onto my card. Then I stamped and colored the image from By the Shore and cut them out against the edge and glued them straight onto the card. I added a black stamped sentiment.
And now I have five easy ways to fancy up a stenciled background! My first tip is to use multiple colors of ink on a stencil. For this card I masked off the different areas and added blue for the water, brown for the sand, etc. After I ink blended the stencil I added some extra stamping to the background using the small cloud stamp from the By the Shore stamp. I added a bit of sparkle with some gold foil cardstock. Another tip is to heat emboss the sentiment for some extra shine! And lastly - I added my images with foam squares for dimension!
I just love the Mermaid Hair stamp set! I decided to make a video for both of these cards! How exciting, right!
I used a mix of green and blue Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks to create a background and I used my heat gun to dry the background creating harsh lines. I added some heat embossed fish to the background and stamped my sentiment from the Mermaid Hair stamp set onto strips of cardstock. I added the sentiment strips and the mermaid with foam squares and finished off the card with some clear droplets. Check out the video for this card below!
I absolutely LOVE when companies add small coordinating images in their stamp sets! And I love using those smaller images to build up a background! I stamped all three fish repeatedly across my card base and colored them with my Spectrum Noir Triblend markers and added some black ink spatters on top.
I die cut a script sentiment and added it to the front of my card! I have a quick process video for you below!

Let's jump into the two cards I made with the new Beach Day stamp set! There's so many cute images in this set!
I love the little girl image with her cute pigtails and freckles! I stamped her and some coordinating images and colored them with my Spectrum Noir Triblend markers.
Rainbows and stripes are my favorite things in the world, so I used a striped stencil from My Favorite Things and some of my favorite colors of Distress Inks and blended a background and added my images on top with a stamped sentiment.
I love the lighthouse image and wanted to make it a focal point of my card. I decided to do an off the edge shaker card, which is actually really easy to do! I started with a piece of white cardstock and cut a "V" shape out of it with my scissors. On a second piece of cardstock I blended some orange and yellow distress inks to represent the light coming from the lighthouse. I made a shaker pouch out of some acetate and filled it with sequins. I added it to my ink blended background and wrapped the shaker pouch around the edge of my cardstock so that the shaker would go all the way to the edge. Then I added my "V" cut out cardstock on top.
I stamped the lighthouse from the Beach Day stamp set and colored it with alcohol markers and added it to my card. Be sure to check out the rest of the blogs in the hop and leave comments for a chance to win the Beach Day stamp set!
Hi, everyone! Tomorrow is my seven year wedding anniversary and I needed a "no frills" and "not girly" anniversary card for my husband. I grabbed the Happily Ever After stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs and made him a simple card.
Our wedding colors were sunflower yellow and chocolate chip brown, so I thought I would make a card playing off of those colors. I started by blending some Fossilized Amber Distress Ink onto the left side of a panel of cardstock and blended that into Mustard Seed Distress Ink. I knew I would be making a peek through card, so I didn't need to blend the whole panel, just a a little strip. I added some of the hearts from the Happily Ever After stamp set with white heat embossing over the ink and colored them in with clear water. This gives them a bleached effect. It's subtle, but just enough! Then I took a second piece of cardstock and chopped out a diagonal portion of the cardstock and mounted it on top of my inked panel with some fun foam. I stamped a simple sentiment from the Happily Ever After stamp set to finish it off!
Whether or not my husband will realize that this card was based off of our wedding colors remains to be seen! Haha! Thanks for joining me for this simple wedding card!
I used a rainbow of my favorite Distress Inks to ink up the front of my card base and then die cut the Simon Says Stamp Modern Circle Cutout from a separate piece of white cardstock and layered it over the top. I stamped and watercolored my shark image and coordinating sentiment strip and added them to the front with foam squares.
This card was SO quick to make! I think it took me about 10 or 15 minutes from start to finish! You can check out my quick process video below!

I stamped a bunch of the Caffeinated Bees around the background of my card using Creme Brulee ink from Studio Calico. Then I grabbed a bunch of my Distress Oxide Sprays and just started flicking on color! I have some Twisted Citron, Abandoned Coral, Squeezed Lemonade, and Shaded Lilac, and Mermaid Lagoon. I probably should have stopped with just two or three colors...but I just couldn't!
I stamped and colored my little Caffeinated Bee and popped him up on a vellum stitched circle die cut. I thought the sentiment from the Perfectly Blended stamp set fit so perfectly with this sad looking bee! Thanks so much for stopping by!
