ThermOWeb Live with Lynnea | Love Card with Glitz and Laura Kelly

Love is in the air! Join me on the ThermOWeb YouTube Channel on Wednesday December 29th at 11am CT/ 12pm ET for a love themed card featuring Laura Kelly Toner Sheets and Foils along with Glitz Glitter Gel

I have used the Laura Kelly Me & My Peeps Stamp Set for customized birthday cards, new home cards, Christmas cards...and now a Valentine's Day card! I love that the people can be colored however you like to represent whomever you want! I created a background using layering stencils with ink and Red Velvet Glitz Glitter Gel to be the backdrop for my cute little people.

I foiled a Laura Kelly Spotty Dots Toner Sheet with Flamingo Pink Transfer Foil and die cut a portion with a stitched heart die and added my Me & My Peeps characters on top with foam tape.

I hope you'll join me on Wednesday at 11am CT/12pm ET on the ThermOWeb YouTube Channel for the full tutorial!

ThermOWeb | Holiday Card with Laura Kelly

Ready for the cutest representation of our family?! ThermOWeb and Laura Kelly goodies make this wintery card too cute for words!

I love the whimsiness of the Laura Kelly line! I mixed some Transfer Foils, Toner Sheets, and the Me & My Peeps Stamp Set and created our little family on a Holiday card! I transferred Magic Wand Silver Foil onto a Baby Swiss Toner Sheet and Wagon Red Foil onto a Sweet Swirls Toner Sheet. Toner sheets are so versatile because you can do almost anything with them! I trimmed down the Baby Swiss background to the size of an A2 card front and blended on blue ink to create a snowy sky. I used a die from Trinity Stamps to die cut the Sweet Swirls background and create a line of trees. I blended green ink over the die-cut and magically created a row of trees with swirly foiled baubles!

I stamped out the characters that would make up our family from the Me & My Peeps Stamp Set and colored them with Copic Markers. I love this stamp set! It can be used to create just about any family for just about any occasion! Our family is just me, my husband, our son, and our (FIVE!) kitties!

I cut a white snow bank and adhered it to the line of trees and popped them up with iCraft 1/16" 3D Foam Tape onto the snowy background. I adhered our little family to the left side of the card with an iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive Pen and added a heat embossed sentiment strip from my stash beneath the colored images. And that's it! This card was quick and easy to create and I hope it inspires you to put your family on a card this Holiday season!

ThermOWeb Live with Lynnea | Memory Game with Laura Kelly

Want a fun way to get your littles involved in crafting? How about a memory game! I had my son stamp and color some of his favorite Laura Kelly images and then we did a bit of foiling and die cutting to finish off the game cards. I'll be showing you how live on the ThermOWeb YouTube channel TODAY at 12pm CT/ 1pm ET! See you there!

This memory game activity was just a great bonding experience for me and my 5 (almost 6!!) year old. He has always shared my craft room with me and it has been fun to help him learn to foil. He calls foils tinsels and was excited to use so many pretty Laura Kelly "tinsels"

We kept to the basic colors of the rainbow and used different colors of Laura Kelly Foils with different Laura Kelly Toner Sheets. He wanted a fun shape so we die cut scalloped tag shapes from both white and colored cardstocks to match the Laura Kelly Transfer Foils.

I added some ink blending towards the bottom of each die cut Toner Sheet to match the foil and cardstock while Jax stamped images from the Laura Kelly Kindness on Purpose and Me & My Peeps Stamp Sets and colored them with Copic Markers. I helped him cut them out and then he glued them to the game cards.

I hope you'll join me live TODAY on the ThermOWeb YouTube Channel for a step by step tutorial of how we made this memory card game! I'll be live at 12pm CT / 1pm ET. See you then!

ThermOWeb | Holiday Embroidery Hoop Card

I'm going live on the ThermOWeb YouTube Channel today at 12pm CT / 1pm ET creating an embroidery hoop themed Christmas card with Laura Kelly Toner Sheets and Foils

Foiling is one of the most magical things in the crafty universe! I used the Laura Kelly Sprinkles Stripes Toner Sheet and foiled it with Wagon Red Laura Kelly Foil. It makes a perfect candy cane background!

I learned a new foiling trick from Larissa, a fellow design team member and I am OBSESSED! Tune in LIVE to see how I used a Deco Foil Adhesive Pen to easily create foiled spatters in my background!

I used the Waffle Flower Embroidery Hoop Die and some Emerald Green Flock to create the embroidery frame and the Waffle Flower Doily Circle Die along with Wagon Red Foil to create the faux embroidered portion. I can't stitch to save my life! So I had to fake it!

I hope you'll join me on YouTube at 12pm CT / 1pm ET for the full tutorial! See you then!

ThermOWeb | Summertime Kindness Card with Laura Kelly

We're right in the middle of summer and the Laura Kelly line from ThermOWeb is PERFECT for bright and happy cards!

I used three Laura Kelly Toner Sheets and three colors of Laura Kelly Foil Transfer Sheets on my card - and I used up some scraps! I always tell you to keep your small pieces and today I showed you one way to use them! I blended green ink onto a Wacky Waves Toner Sheet and then wiped off any excess ink with a microfiber towel. I placed a piece of Laura Kelly Flamingo Pink Foil pretty side up onto the Toner Sheet and used a piece of Deco Foil Parchment Paper and ran the sandwich through my laminator. The results are this pretty watermelon looking background!

I made a project live on the ThermOWeb YouTube Channel with the Laura Kelly Baby Swiss and Sweet Swirls Toner Sheets and had pieces left over. I never let pretty things go to waste, so I decided to use them to accent the side of my card. I had used Carrot Orange Foil on the Baby Swiss Toner Sheet and Magic Wand Silver on the Sweet Swirls Toner Sheets and I loved the happy mix of colors! I added them onto the left side of my card and then popped up my third panel using foam tape from the  iCraft White 1/16" Jumbo Foam Tape Roll

I stamped a couple of cupcakes from the Laura Kelly Kindness on Purpose Stamp Set and colored them with Copic Markers. I wanted to stick to the watermelon color scheme so I used pinks and greens. I cut them out with my scissors and arranged them on my card. I realized that my card had somehow too much and too little at the same time. I needed something neutral to break up the card. I used a die from the Trinity Stamps Slimline Dainty Scallop Edge Die Set and cut down a Baby Swiss Toner Sheet. I didn't add any foil or inking - just left it black and white - and that did the trick!

I finished off my card by adding my cupcakes and sentiment with iCraft 3D Foam Squares. Hope you love it! See you soon!

ThermOWeb | Laura Kelly Rainbow Cupcake Card

There's a new line of products on the ThermOWeb site from an amazing designer - Laura Kelly! There are stamps, Designer Foils, and Toner Sheets! I played with them and made a fun and playful rainbow cupcake card!

The whimsy style that Laura Kelly brings to her products carries through her new stamps and toner sheets and there are 8 STUNNING foils in perfect rainbow colors!

I wanted to try using Distress Oxide Sprays with the Laura Kelly Toner Sheets. It's a medium I haven't used with toner sheets yet! In my video I show two ways to use them - spraying as intended and adding spatters. I liked the look of the spatters against the white background, but if you prefer more color you can spray to your heart's content!

I tested using the sprays both before and after foiling and the results were the same either way, but I find it easier to ink and then foil. That way I can add color while my laminator is heating up. It makes me feel like I've saved some time. I added color by flicking on the Distress Oxide Sprays and heat set the ink with my heat tool. I used two patterns of Laura Kelly Toner Sheets - Spotty Dots and Dauntless Diamonds. I also used two colors of Laura Kelly Designer Foils - Sunshine Yellow and Berry Purple. All the colors are gorgeous, but I was drawn to these!

I placed the foils onto the toner sheets pretty side up and ran them through my laminator with a piece of Deco Foil Parchment Paper. They are GORGEOUS! I used a stitched rectangle and stitched circle die to cut down the toner sheets and saved the extra pieces for future cards. I stamped the ADORABLE cupcake from the Kindness on Purpose Stamp Set with rainbow colors and trimmed it out with scissors. I love the childlike and whimsy style of the images and sentiments!

As I was assembling the card I realized I needed a punch of something ... neon of course! I adhered a piece of a Poppin' Pink Neon Enamel Transfer Sheet to a Deco Foil Foam Adhesive Sheet and cut it out with a slightly larger stitched circle. I layered the circles together using new iCraft White 3D Foam Tape. I centered everything on my Spotty Dots foiled toner sheet and added the cupcake and sentiment strip with iCraft 3D White Foam Squares

There is SO much to love about the new Laura Kelly release! Hop on over to the ThermOWeb store to find all kinds of new goodies!
