Hi, crafty friends! I'm so excited to be joining the Oh So Inspired Collaboration Hop on YouTube for the next few months! Each month, we'll be inspired by another cardmaker's beautiful project and create our own unique take on it. It's such a fun way to stretch those creative muscles, and I couldn't wait to jump in!
This month's inspiration comes from the incredibly talented Verena S. on Instagram. Her gorgeous card features three soft pastel circles with delicate die-cut leaves, and I was instantly drawn to that simple, eye-catching design. Rather than recreate her card, I used those three circles as a starting point and turned the layout into a fun card sketch for my own project.
Of course, I had to use one of my favorite stamp sets - the adorable Lawn Fawn Highland Cows! (If you know me, you know I absolutely adore cows...especially Highland cows!) I colored a handful of the sweet images with Copic Markers before creating three little circular scenes using the LDRS Creative Land & Sky Masks and Stencils. A little stenciled grass and fluffy clouds were all these cuties needed! I arranged the finished circles in a visual triangle on the left side of my card and paired them with a pretty pink gingham patterned paper for a bright, happy finish.

This slimline scene is the cutest! All the winter and Christmas vibes are in one place! I pulled out a bunch of Lawn Fawn Stamp Sets and combined them on this card. They're all listed and linked in my video description as well as at the end of this blog post.
There are a lot of things I could have chosen to light up on this card - the windows, the car headlight, etc ... but my husband loves street lights, so I decided to add three streetlights to my winter scene and have them be my light up elements.
I added an ink blended background with Distress Oxide Inks and this merry and bright light up scene is everything you could ever wish for! This project is part of a hop, so be sure to hop along to the next stop - the amazing Alberto Gava!

Did you know the little gnomes from the ThermOWeb Festive Fall Add-On can hold any little item you want?! I have my gnomies bringing pies to Thanksgiving dinner!
I chose one of my favorite Toner Card Fronts from the Brutus Monroe Really Radiant Toner Card Front Mixables and did a bit of ink blending to color my background. I thought the pattern could look a bit like sunflowers in the background, so I used brown towards the center of each of the "flowers" and then yellow over the whole panel. Be sure to use a clean, dry cloth to buff off any extra ink before foiling so you get great results! I cut a piece of Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil slightly larger than my Toner Card Front and placed it pretty side up on top of the panel and ran it through my laminator using Deco Foil Parchment Paper.
The positive foiled background was gorgeous, but the negative piece was just as gorgeous and I couldn't let it go to waste! I added a piece of iCraft Easy Cut Adhesive to a piece of white cardstock and placed the negative piece of Gold Shattered Glass Foil on top. It makes a beautiful second background!
I build my gnomes by die cutting pieces using the original Gnome for the Holidays Craft Kit and the Gnome for the Holidays: Festive Fall Add-On Die Sets. The beards, bodies, noses, and feet come from the original set and the hats and cute little hands from the add-on. I used a combination of cardstock, patterned paper, and even Tuscan Gold Deco Foil Flock to cut all the pieces for my gnomes. I knew I wanted them to be holding something, so I took a peek through my stash and came across the Lawn Fawn Cutie Pie Stamp Set and thought how CUTE those pies would be in my scene! I used my iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive Pen to adhere all of the pieces of my gnomes together and moved on to putting my scene together.
I used two methods of foiling on my Valentine's Day card - one with heat and one without. And I have to say - my no heat method could be a new favorite of mine!
Let's start with the method of adding Deco Foil Transfer Sheets to a background without heat. I used one of my favorite adhesives - iCraft 6x6 Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets - to cover an entire piece of A2 sized cardstock with adhesive. I chose three colors of Deco Foil for my background - Red, Enchanted Rose, and Silver Stars. I started with the Red Deco Foil Transfer Sheets and cut about a 2" x 6" piece of Foil and crunched it up in my fist so that the Deco Foil looked crackled then I started pressing random portions onto the adhesive covered background. The effect is AWESOME!
Once I had a good bit of the Red Deco Foil on my background I repeated the process with the Enchanted Rose Deco Foil Transfer Sheets. I cut off a piece of foil, crunched it up, and pounced it onto my background. Then I filled in any empty areas with the Silver Stars Deco Foil Transfer Sheets. This technique is an awesome way to create a distressed, foiled background! But you'll probably have some sticky areas left on your background. Here's a tip! I used my anti static powder tool ( what I would use for heat embossing ) and rubbed it all over my background. No more sticky spots!
Now let's switch gears to the heat method of adding foil. There are a LOT of ways to add foil with a laminator to a background, but I LOVE to reach for Toner Sheets! They are easy and quick - right up my alley! I always like to preheat my laminator and let it heat up for about 20 minutes after the "ready" light comes on. I find I get a better transfer if my laminator is good and hot before I start foiling. I used the Gina K Designs Stars and Stripes Foil Mates and trimmed a piece of Red Deco Foil to be slightly larger than my background, placed the foil on top of the toner sheet pretty side up, and ran it through my laminator. Now I have pretty foiled stars!

Hello! It might still be super super cold, but Spring is on the horizon! I paired some cute floral papers and stamps with a few of my favorite colors of Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets to create a set of flocked Spring cards!
I started by picking out some colors of Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets that just sang SSPPPRRIIIINNNGG to me! Haha! I ended up choosing two original flock colors and two new flock colors - Sunshine Yellow, Purple Punch, Blue Sky, and Pink Carnation. I chose the Pink & Main Garden Gate Stencil to use for my backgrounds and sprayed the back of it with Pixie Spray and temporarily adhered it to some white cardstock. I used a Stencil Pal and spread some Deco Foil Transfer Gel DUO over the stencil. I repeated the process three more times so that I had four stenciled backgrounds.
Although the Deco Foil Transfer Gel DUO only takes a few hours to dry, I always find it best to let it sit overnight to fully cure. You'll know it's good to go when the DUO Gel changes from being white and opaque to clear and shiny. It will still be slightly tacky, but that's how it's supposed to be! I trimmed down pieces of Deco Foil Flock to be a bit larger than the stenciled backgrounds and put them flock side DOWN on top of the DUO Gel stenciled backgrounds. The fabulous thing about the new Deco Foil Transfer Gel DUO is that you don't need heat to transfer foil or flock onto the gel - you just need pressure! I ran each of the backgrounds through my die cutting machine and peeled away the Deco Foil Flock backer sheets to reveal the stenciled and flocked backgrounds!
What's more Spring than pretty flowers?! I stamped the two flowers and three leaves from the Altenew Build a Flower Dahlia stamp set four times and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I stamped the leaves in the same colors all four times, but I switched up the colors of the flowers so that each card would be slightly different. I wanted to throw even more springy vibes into the mix, so I chose four different floral patterned papers from the Lawn Fawn Spring Fling 6x6 Paper Pad.
I switched up the background papers, Deco Foil Flock stenciled pieces, and flowers to make four different cards with the same Spring vibe! I kept the color of the patterned papers the same as the flowers on top and a coordinating Deco Foil Flock color in the middle! Hello! It's hard to believe that Valentine's Day is in just one month! There are a whole BUNCH of ThermOWeb products that would make quick and easy school themed Valentines. Today I decided to use Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets as well as Deco Foil Transfer Sheets!
My son is four, so when I think of school themed Valentines I think of bright colors. And that means crayons! And rainbows! Haha! I decided to go back to basics and use the original six colors of Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets for my rainbow of Valentines. When I work with the Flock Transfer Sheets I like to first transfer them onto pieces of cardstock. I cut down six pieces of cardstock and covered each of them with a piece of an iCraft 6x6 Easy Cut Adhesive Sheet. Then I cut down a piece of each of the six Deco Foil Flock colors - Think Pink, Orange Glow, Sunshine Yellow, Green Envy, Blue Diamond, and Purple Punch - to be a bit larger than the cardstock pieces. To transfer the Flock Transfer Sheets onto the cardstock I peeled back the adhesive and placed the Flock Transfer Sheets face down into the adhesive. Then I ran each of them through my die cutting machine to really press the Flock Transfer Sheets into the adhesive, peeled away the backer sheet, and I have a whole rainbow of Deco Foil Flock covered cardstock pieces!
The Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets have so much texture, but I decided to add a bit more using an embossing folder. You can use the Flock Transfer Sheets with embossing folders just like you would with regular cardstock! I used the Taylored Expressions Cross Stitch Embossing Folder on each of the six backgrounds - but I still needed more! Haha! I used coordinating colors of Distress Inks to lightly add a little ink after I embossed the backgrounds. The raised portions of the Deco Foil Flock backgrounds pick up the ink and the embossing really pops off the page!
I die cut some stitched rectangles from heavy weight cardstock and stamped my sentiment and images from the Lawn Fawn Color My World stamp set. I colored them with alcohol markers to match the Deco Foil Flock backgrounds. I was going to assemble my cards with just the Deco Foil Flock backgrounds and colored panels, but again .... they needed just a little something more. Something shiny, of course! I added some Deco Foil Transfer Sheets and totally cheated so that I wouldn't waste a lot of foil. I only wanted a small border around my colored panel, so I outlined a second piece of cardstock with 1/4" Gina K Designs Terrific Tape and added foil to that. The Deco Foil is only around the edges instead of covering the whole layered cardstock piece. I chose coordinating colors of Deco Foil Transfer Sheets - Purple, Deep Blue, Spring Green, and Gold. I found the closest matches to the pink and orange with Sweet Mango and Passionate Pink Gina K Designs Fancy Foil.
Don't you just love the colors of Autumn?! I do! And I love coloring floral images with yellow and orange to make a fall bouquet!
I stamped out one of the bouquets from the Pinkfresh Studio Fancy Blooms stamp set and used Copic markers to color in the image. I used R08, YR09, and YR07 for the orange flower. The yellow flower I used YR04, Y17, and Y15. The leaves are BG78 and BG75 and the brown sprigs are E79 and E74.
I cut out a few of my favorite patterns from the Lawn Fawn Fall Knit Picky paper pad with stitched dies and adhered them to a card front. I trimmed out my colored bouquet and added it to the stitched oval with foam squares. I stamped the sentiment from the Sunny Studio Stamps Beautiful Autumn stamp set onto a strip of patterned paper with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink and added it on top of my bouquet.
I added a bit of shimmer to my bouquet with Liquid Pixie Dust to finish the card! Thanks for stopping by today!
Hi! Today I totally stepped out of my comfort zone and made a pull tab card using the Caroling Squad stamp set from Simon Hurley Create.! I made a LOT of mistakes along the way and I'm sharing them with you! Hope you enjoy!
This card started off easily enough - a little ink blending! I love blues and purples for Christmas, so I picked out some of my favorite Simon Hurley Create. dye inks and started blending! I started at the top with my darkest - and favorite! - Triple Berry, then moved to Remember Me, and ended with the lightest color - Clear Skies.
What's a Christmas card without some snow? Once my background was done I added some flicks of white watercolor all over the card front. I stamped a sentiment from the Caroling Squad stamp set and heat embossed it with Ranger Liquid Platinum powder. I stamped the tree and the boy from Caroling Squad and colored them with my alcohol markers.
Now here's where the mistakes started happening! Haha! I'm usually a pretty straight and narrow, clean and simple kind of girl - but for some reason I decided to step out on the ledge and create a pull tab card! Watch my video above to see all of my mistakes!
I assembled the tree and the little boy and created a pull tab card so that he hides behind the tree until you pull the tab and then you can see him! And even though there are obvious errors on this card, I'm so in love with it and I hope you are too! I'll see you soon!
Hello, there! We're in the middle of a heat wave here and I am SO ready for cooler temperatures! Haha! I am definitely not a lover of summer! I have a fun textured Halloween card on the ThermOWeb blog today using one of my favorite products - Flock Transfer Sheets! I'm a lover of texture and this card is seriously packed with visual and physical textures!
OMG you guys this card is flocking AMAZING! Haha! Not only did I incorporate Flock Transfer Sheets, but I used Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil, some ink blending, and lots and lots of die cutting! Aren't those little houses just adorable!?

Hey, there! I'm so excited about this month's theme from Scrapping for Less - Under the Stars! I created a cute little critter campfire scene! And scroll down to see the video!
I this this little scene is super cute, don't you?! I started by cutting down some patterned papers from the Photoplay Campfire & Lakeside 6 x 6 patterned paper pad for my background. I fell in LOVE with the star background paper as soon as I saw it! And I love using patterns as grass. I think it makes things super fun! I stamped and colored the critters from the Lawn Fawn Love You S'more stamp set. I also stamped a bunch of trees for my background!
Once I had everything cut out I started assembling my card. I tucked the trees behind the patterned paper foreground and popped up my campfire and critters. I stamped my sentiment with brown ink and trimmed the ends to banner edges.
A bit of glitter over my critters and randomly in the starry background finished off my card! I hope you enjoy the video!
Hey, everyone! I have a simple card today using patterned paper and the Critters Ever After stamp set from Lawn Fawn!
I stamped and colored some images from the Critters Ever After stamp set with my alcohol markers. One thing I'm trying to do lately is leave more neutral colored areas. I struggle with coloring because I use too many colors. I've been loving white lately, so I kept lots of white in my colored images. I thought the Pretty Little Rainbows papers from the May 2019 Flavor of the Month kit were so gorgeous that I bought extras! I used one of my favorites for my background.
I added some cloud die cuts and added my images to my card front. Simple - but I love how the rainbow background shines with the white colored images! Watch my process video below!
Hey everyone! Have you ever tried coloring an image with Nuvo Dream Drops? I did and the results are fantastic! I have a video for you and you can find the products I've used in the Scrapping for Less store!
Then came the fun part! I squeezed out some of the Indigo Eclipse Nuvo Dream Drops onto my glass work surface and picked it up with my stylus and "colored" with the Dream Drops! How cool! I love that the Dream Drops allow the stamping to show through because they are translucent.
I added some stamping to the background of my cards for interest using a My Favorite Things background stripe stamp and the stars from the Critters Ever After stamp set. Then I added my images with foam squares! Check out the video below!
