LDRS Creative | Sending Thanks with Autumn Tails

With Thanksgiving almost here, I wanted to create a sweet, thoughtful card that’s perfect for saying thank you to your holiday host. I turned to the absolutely adorable Autumn Tails Stamps and Dies and couldn’t resist featuring the little fox and bunny tucked into a cozy pumpkin patch. This heartfelt “from me to you” is simple, sincere, and just right for sharing gratitude during the season.

Products used -

I stamped and colored a handful of pumpkins as well as a couple of critters from the Autumn Tails 5x7 Stamps with Copic Markers. I love how pumpkins come in a bunch of different colors, so I made some white, some yellow orange, and some darker orange. While I had my inks out, I stamped a background in gray ink with the Distress Background 5x7 Stamp as well as a sentiment from the Me to You Holiday Sentiments 4x6 Stamps. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the critters, pumpkins, and sentiment. I added the braided detail to the edge of a landscape A2 card with the Braided Edge Die  and cut a strip of green cardstock for the ground.

Now that all of my pieces are stamped, colored, and cut - it's time to put them all together! added the distress background to my die-cut card base, adhered the green strip to the bottom for the ground, and then popped up all of my die-cut pieces with foam tape. That's it! Now I have a special card to take to the Thanksgiving host tomorrow. Hope you all have a great day!

Pink & Main | Let's Get Stuffed

The October stamp and die of the month from Pink & Main is the cutest and punniest thing ever! I paired the turkey with a few products from the latest release and made the most adorable card for Thanksgiving!

The Turkey Time Stamp Set is the October Stamp of the Month and it's a cutey! If you're not signed up for the Stamp and Die of the Month you should be!! You get a special stamp and die each month for an amazing price! I stamped the turkey and a bunch of pumpkins from the Turkey Time Stamp Set and colored them with Copic Markers and then die cut them with the coordinating Turkey Time Dies

I have been loving the Pumpkin Season 6x6 Paper Pack and using it on almost every fall themed card I make! I chose three patterns that I thought went together and used them on my card. I used the large scallop die in the Diagonal Cover Die Set and cut the polka dot paper and the brown plaid and leaf patterns using the inner die from the Diagonal Cover Die Set. I pieced together the diagonal pieces with foam tape on top of the scalloped border piece.

I stamped a punny sentiment from the Turkey Time Stamp Set and die cut it with a die from the Large Sentiment Strip Die Set and popped it up onto the front of my card along with the pumpkins and turkey. That's it! So simple and cute. I hope you enjoyed! See you soon!

ThermOWeb | Festive Fall Gnomes

Did you know the little gnomes from the ThermOWeb Festive Fall Add-On can hold any little item you want?! I have my gnomies bringing pies to Thanksgiving dinner!

These gnomes from the Gnome for the Holidays: Festive Fall Add-On can visit my house for dinner any day! I did a bit of die cutting and paired them with a Brutus Monroe Toner Card Front. I even used both the positive and negative of the foiled piece to get two cards! Let's dive in!

I chose one of my favorite Toner Card Fronts from the Brutus Monroe Really Radiant Toner Card Front Mixables and did a bit of ink blending to color my background. I thought the pattern could look a bit like sunflowers in the background, so I used brown towards the center of each of the "flowers" and then yellow over the whole panel. Be sure to use a clean, dry cloth to buff off any extra ink before foiling so you get great results! I cut a piece of Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil slightly larger than my Toner Card Front and placed it pretty side up on top of the panel and ran it through my laminator using Deco Foil Parchment Paper

The positive foiled background was gorgeous, but the negative piece was just as gorgeous and I couldn't let it go to waste! I added a piece of iCraft Easy Cut Adhesive to a piece of white cardstock and placed the negative piece of Gold Shattered Glass Foil on top. It makes a beautiful second background!

I build my gnomes by die cutting pieces using the original Gnome for the Holidays Craft Kit and the Gnome for the Holidays: Festive Fall Add-On Die Sets. The beards, bodies, noses, and feet come from the original set and the hats and cute little hands from the add-on. I used a combination of cardstock, patterned paper, and even Tuscan Gold Deco Foil Flock to cut all the pieces for my gnomes. I knew I wanted them to be holding something, so I took a peek through my stash and came across the Lawn Fawn Cutie Pie Stamp Set and thought how CUTE those pies would be in my scene! I used my iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive Pen to adhere all of the pieces of my gnomes together and moved on to putting my scene together.

I cut a grassy border and heat embossed a sentiment using the Lawn Fawn Thankful Mice Stamp Set and also die cut a circle to represent the sun behind the grassy hill and added them to my card using tape from the iCraft White 1/16" 3D Jumbo Foam Tape Roll. I added my gnomes on top of my scene with iCraft 3D Foam Squares.

I hope this project inspires you to look around your craft room and see what little items your Festive Fall Gnomes can hold! See you soon!
