Holiday Lights Hop with Pear Blossom Press
There are a lot of things I could have chosen to light up on this card - the windows, the car headlight, etc ... but my husband loves street lights, so I decided to add three streetlights to my winter scene and have them be my light up elements.
I added an ink blended background with Distress Oxide Inks and this merry and bright light up scene is everything you could ever wish for! This project is part of a hop, so be sure to hop along to the next stop - the amazing Alberto Gava!

Miss Ink Stamps | Birthday Gnomes Light Up Card
Is there anything better than a Glitzy, light up birthday card?! Only if it has gnomes!
I used some Lovely Lavender Glitz Glitter Gel over the Kaleidescope Stencil and colored up the adorable gnomes from the Birthday Gnomes Stamp Set. I was going to go with that, but why not take it a step further and light it up!
I used EZ Lights to make an easy light up card. Be sure to catch the video tutorial at the top of this post for all the details! See you soon!
I like to create easy cards with something extra ... and this card does not disappoint!

Pink & Main | Oh Happy Day Light Up Card
Well, hi! It's Lynnea and I have the CUTEST interactive (belated) birthday card to share with you today using the new Pink & Main stamp and die of the month!
Let's just jump right in! I stamped the dragon and sentiment from the Oh Happy Day Stamp and Die Combo in the center of a card panel and colored him with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating die set to cut out a mask for the dragon and covered him with the mask so I could do some ink blending. You could definitely skip this step and instead die cut him and place him on top of a background, but I wanted the extra touch of a one layer background.
I placed the Stained Glass Stencil over my masked off dragon and used an Ergonomic Blender Brush to add multiple colors of ink over my background. I love how it looks like bursts of confetti in the background!
Now for the fun part! I used an EZ Light mechanism from Pear Blossom Press and added the three lights behind the three largest balloons in my stamped image. Ahh! Look at the cuteness when you press the dragon's tummy!
I hope you love this ADORABLE light up card using the Pink & Main Stamp and Die of the Month! Happy crafting!
I decided I wanted another pattern popping out from behind the stenciled background, so I VERY carefully trimmed down my panel and added it on top of a striped patterned paper from the Hooray 6x6 Pack.

Pear Blossom Press and Hero Arts Collaboration Hop

Get ready for lots of inspiration, and be sure to comment as you hop along, for your chance to win a $50 store credit!
I really love the card I made for this hop - is it okay to say that? Haha! It's bright and vibrant and glittery! And it lights up! Watch my video above for a full tutorial!

I started with the cake in my process video, so let's start there! I stamped the cake and candles from the Hero Arts Time for Cake Stamp Set and colored the rainbow center with Copic Markers. I didn't color the outside of the cake at all - I have something special in mind! I scooped out a small bit of Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel and spread it around the cake with a palette knife. Now I have a chunky, glittery, iced cake! It took almost no time to dry, too!
I wanted to create a special background, so I used the Hero Arts Porthole Fancy Die, but I cut off the outer circle which made it look like a porthole. Now it just looks like a circular grid backdrop. I used i-Brush Blending Brushes to blend on a rainbow of Distress Oxide Inks and added some gold watercolor spatters on top. I adhered the Porthole Fancy Die-Cut piece on top.

Before I go any further with the front of the card - let's light it up! I pierced three small holes in my background where the candles from my cake would lay. I marked the placement of the lights on my card base as well as where I need to place my button. It's is SO easy to assemble the EZ Lights! The whole process took a little more than 3 minutes! You can't beat that! A real game changer is the double thick foam tape carried by Pear Blossom Press! It makes assembling any kind of interactive card a breeze. I highly recommend that you grab a roll!
Now let's finish up the front of the card. I wanted a die cut sentiment to go on my card so I cut apart the Hero Arts Happy Birthday Cake Fancy Die! I die cut it from gold cardstock and trimmed the little tabs at the beginning and end of the sentiments to make a stand alone die cut sentiment.
Every good hop has prizes, right? So Hero Arts, and Pear Blossom Press are each giving away a $50 store credit! Comment on this post by January 29, 2021 to be entered to win. Winners will be posted on the Pear Blossom Press Blog on February 6, 2021.

Pink & Main and Pear Blossom Press EZ Lights Collab
I have a spooky Day of the Dead light up card to share with you! It's part of the blog hop collaboration between Pink & Main and Pear Blossom Press! I love when the companies I love join forces!
I die cut a reverse scallop slimline frame using the Blessings Slimline Die Set from black cardstock. I also cut some stitched hills using the Scallop Waves Die Set and added them onto my night sky ink blended piece.

EZ Lights and My Favorite Things Hop | 2 Light Up Cards
There's a special blog hop today! Pear Blossom Press and My Favorite Things have teamed up to create light up cards! I made two simple light up scenes - one for Autumn and one for Halloween!
I made two cards and kept them both pretty simple. I wanted the adorable images and light up features to really "shine" haha!
Let's start with the Autumn themed card. I created quite possibly the simplest of scenes with just a bit of stenciling! I used the Rectangle Trio Stencil and centered it at the top of my card and blended on a few Autumn colored inks. I started at the bottom with brown, then red, orange, and just a bit of yellow.
I colored some cute images from the My Favorite Things Happy Campers Stamp Set and cut them with the coordinating dies and arranged them on my scene. I pokes some holes where I wanted my lights to shine through and EASILY added the EZ Lights behind my card panel to make it light up. Emphasis on the easy! All you have to do is line up where you want the lights. Watch my video above - I walk you though just how I like to line them up!
I love to use Double Thick Foam Tape from Pear Blossom Press to assemble my card. It's no fuss! No need to double up the tape and the backing comes off super easily! I added a stamped sentiment under my scene and this card is done! I chose to place the push button behind the fox so when you push on his guitar the moon, campfire, and lantern light up! You could have a special place with a "push" sentiment, but I like to just add a little note for the recipient to push for a special surprise!
I again assembled my card using the Double Thick Foam Tape from Pear Blossom Press. It just makes my life so easy! I have a confession - I forgot a sentiment! It's something I do ALL the time! Usually I catch it, but I didn't! That's no problem, thought! I'll add one to the inside of the card!
I hope you've enjoyed this collaboration between My Favorite Things and Pear Blossom Press! And hopefully you've learned some tips and tricks, too!

I decided to go spooky with my second card! I made a little trick-or-treat scene outside of a haunted house using some new stamps and dies from My Favorite Things. I created my background with some ink blending and the Rolling Clouds Stencil. This stencil is one of my new favorites! I added a road to the bottom of my panel. It's really just a strip of black cardstock that I added some white gel pen dashed lines to! I cut a bunch of elements from the Haunted House Die Set - the house, trees, a door knob, and some boards to make my windows creepy!
All of my trick-or-treaters are from the Boo Crew Stamp Set. Aren't they cute!? I colored them with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I created this card the same way as the first - I arranged my scene and poked holes in the jack-o-lantern, moon, and the top window of the house and easily assembled the EZ Lights mechanism behind my panel.
