LDRS Creative Heart Wreath Shaker Card

Hey, everyone! Have you seen the new Open Hearts Valentine release from LDRS Creative?! It's full of hearts, love, friendship, and everything amazing! The products in this release were created specially so that you can use them for the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday and for other occasions, too! I love the Heart Wreath stamp set and decided to use the large image to create a quick little shaker card!

I stamped the large wreath image from the Heart Wreath stamp set with Raven Hybrid Ink and colored the image with alcohol markers. I colored each leaf individually with three different shades of green to give some depth and dimension to the image. I didn't add any shading to the leaves, but I think it turned out great! I die cut the image with the coordinating Heart Wreath die set and I LOVE that the die also cuts out the inside of the wreath! Perfect for creating a shaker card! I picked out a background patterned paper from the Love Birds 6x6 Paper Pack and trimmed down a piece small enough to fit behind my shaker window. There are a bunch of sentiments in the Heart Wreath stamp set and they all fit in the middle of the wreath. How perfect is that?! I stamped a sentiment with Raven Hybrid Ink onto the patterned paper and embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. I used some clear sequins and foam tape to finish off my shaker element.

I wanted to add some subtle texture to my background and the new With All My Heart cover die is PERFECT! I LOVE to die cut it from white cardstock for a bit of texture and dimension behind a focal element. The die cuts panel with a stitched border that perfectly fits the front of an A2 card and also embosses a pattern into the background. It's gorgeous! I added my shaker element on the front of the With All My Heart panel to complete my card. I hope you love this look at the Open Hearts release from LDRS Creative!
