Thinking of You Sunny Meadow Background

Hey, there! Let's take another little break from winter and warm up with a fun floral background! I used the Sunny Meadow Petal Pusher stamp set and some LDRS Creative Hybrid Inks for this card. And I also made a HUGE mistake that everyone has to have made at one point or another! Watch my video for how I fixed it!

My flowers for the background are from the gorgeous Sunny Meadow Petal Pusher stamp set. I love this stamp set because you can layer and give the flowers an outline! So many possibilities! I decided to go bright and happy, so I stamped my flowers in Lipstick Jungle Hybrid Ink and the leaves with Key Lime Pie Hybrid Ink. You could outline the images with a slightly darker ink to give a more natural appearance, but I chose to go bold and use Raven Hybrid Ink as for my outlines and details. I needed to fix a BIG mistake and fill in my background, so I used the adorable tiny flowers and stamped them everywhere with Raven Hybrid Ink.

I only wanted my stamping to be at the top of my card, so I cut off the bottom third and blended some Lipstick Jungle Hybrid Ink onto a strip of cardstock and adhered it where the patterned stamping met my card base to give it a finished edge. I stamped my sentiment from the Sunny Meadow Petal Pusher stamp set onto a circle cut from the Scalloped Circle Frames die set with Raven Hybrid Ink and then decided that wasn't enough! I needed more circles! I cut out some more and even blended on some Lipstick Jungle Hybrid Ink onto the scalloped circle for an additional pop of color.

I hope you love this bright card! It makes my heart happy and warm! See you soon!
