Mighty Hands Faith Cards

Hello! I'm so excited to share today's cards with you! I used stamps from a new stamp company called Mighty Hands! They are based in Singapore, but their stamps are made here in the US! I first saw them on Instagram and I fell in love! I'm always looking for Christian stamps to make cards to share with my fellow Christians and these stamps are perfect! And they came in only 3 weeks from Singapore! I couldn't wait to start playing!

I don't know about you, but I have a whole basket of backgrounds sitting next to my desk just waiting for the perfect stamps to finish them off! When I try new techniques I make a bunch of backgrounds and pick my favorites to use and keep the rest for later. I used two of my pre-made backgrounds for these cards!

This one is the more simple background. I used a technique from Jennifer McGuire where I put some acrylic paints onto my cardstock and dragged the paint across the cardstock with a ruler. It's super easy and I have about 20 backgrounds that I made! I loved the colors and chose to use the script "faith" sentiment with one of the skinny text sentiments from the Faith Words stamp set and white heat embossed them. I LOVE this stamp set because of the script faith word and the bunches of coordinating sentiments!

This card was a little more involved, but still fairly simple! I used the Cora Background Stamp from Simon Says Stamp, but I masked off the outer part of the stamp so that I only stamped the inner portion. Then I used some WOW! embossing powder to heat emboss the image. I ink blended some Fossilized Amber Distress Ink onto the whole background, but I kept the center light and the edges dark.

I thought the Faith Words stamp set would be perfect to finish off this background! I used white embossing powder to heat emboss the script faith word onto vellum and used my scissors to trim around the word. I used Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink to stamp the coordinating sentiment onto white cardstock and then trimmed the cardstock strip so that I could stack the sentiment. I love how the Peacock Feathers ink almost matches my embossed background, but it's just a tad darker so that the sentiment will stand out!

I hope you've enjoyed this peek at the Faith Words stamp set from Mighty Hands and that you'll head over to their store and check them out! See you next time!
