New Goodies for My Craft Room!!!

Hello! I thought today I'd share some of my new additions to my craft room! I've been saying for about a week now that I would share them with you, and today is finally the day!!

Here's the big momma...the biggest addition! My mother-in-law got me a Big Shot for Christmas and I love it!! I adore it! I use it for almost every card that I make! I also got a giftcard to Simon Says Stamp, so I used that for some new Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. I picked up some circle dies and tag dies at Michael's and then of course I have the dies from my card kits. I just love it!!

I have more dies on my little board now, but I wanted to share how I store them. I went to Hobby Lobby after Christmas and picked up a cheap "decorate it yourself" picture frame for about 20 cents! Then I used my coupon to pick up some adhesive magnet sheets and stuck them down on the frame. I keep the frame right on my desk next to my Big Shot so that I can easily grab whatever die I need! I'm probably not the first person to use a system like this...I'm sure I saw it somewhere, I just don't know where!

Another addition that I've been wanting and needing for a while is a custom stamp with my name on it! I purchased mine just before Christmas from a company on Etsy called Twig and Linen. They make custom wood handled stamps and they are super high quality! They have ones for paper crafters, quilting, and more!

Here's exactly how my stamp...well...stamps! It says simply handmade by lynnea hollendonner. I love it! I think my name in lowercase scripty letters is super cute!

In addition to these changes, I've also revamped my embossing powders to be like Jennifer McGuire. I didn't take a photo because I completely copied her, so head over to her blog to see photos! I have little snap locking plastic containers and I've fastened a cable clip from Command Hooks onto the lids. I picked up some silver appetizer spoons from Hobby Lobby and they clip right in. I had my powders in bigger containers, but as my collection grew, those big containers were too clunky to fit in my space, so I've downsized!

That's all for today!! I plan to be back on Friday with another video!!
