The Painted Garden 6x6 Paper Pack has double sided papers which are PERFECT for today's tutorial! I always get asked how I decorate the inside of my cards. The honest answer? I don't. Never! I don't even stamp a sentiment on the inside - they're blank so I can write as much or as little as I want. but I thought I would give you guys an easy idea to dress up the inside of your cards. Want to know what it is? Fold the patterned paper in half. Really - that's it! You'll have gorgeous pattern on the front and the inside of your card! I picked out four patterns from the Painted Garden 6x6 Paper Pack and folded them in half at 3 inches and trimmed a bit off the side so they would be 5 1/2 inches long.

LDRS Creative | Slim Line Pocket Card Set
I am DEFINITELY a patterned paper hoarder, but today I used the gorgeous LDRS Creative Painted Garden 6x6 Paper Pack to create an easy set of slim line pocket cards!
I cut the Birdhouse Border Die from white cardstock four times with a 1/2 inch border at the bottom of each one. I wanted to keep the focus on the pretty patterned papers, so I simply used liquid adhesive to glue the birdhouse border die cuts onto the bottom of each of the cards.
I like simple, but elegant sentiments and the sentiments from the Snapdragon, Magnolia, Lily, and Pelargonium Stamp Set are perfect! I stamped them with a variety of LDRS Creative Hybrid Inks making sure that each sentiment color would coordinate with the colors in the patterned papers. I die cut them with the coordinating Snapdragon, Magnolia, Lily, and Pelargonium Dies and added them to the cards with foam tape.
I hope these cards inspire you to break out your patterned paper and make some quick cards that are beautiful on the outside and the inside! See you soon!
