LDRS Creative | Garden Grandeur Slim Line Layering Stencils

Layering stencil sets are my FAVORITE crafty tools right now! The new LDRS Creative Garden Grandeur Slim Line Layering Stencil Set is right at the top of my list!

It is SO incredibly easy to work with the new layering stencil sets! I give you lots of great tips in the video above so be sure to watch! Whether I am working with the coordinating stamps or not I like to stencil first. I just find it easier that way. I placed a piece of cardstock into the corner of my stamping tool and taped it in place. There are three layers to the Garden Grandeur Slim Line Layering Stencil Set with multiple parts to each layer to get great dimension. I started with layers 1A and 1B and stenciled on Prickly Pear Perfection and Key Lime Pie Hybrid Inks with LDRS Creative Blending Brushes. I moved on to the second layers and used Soft Kisses and Fandango Hybrid Inks. I used Banana Cream Pie, Lantern Yellow, Dan-D-Lion, and Peachy Keen Hybrid Inks to finish off the Garden Grandeur cluster. It's just gorgeous don't you think?!

If I wanted to stamp the outline from the Garden Grandeur Slim Line Stamp Set this is when I would do it, but I decided to just go with the ink blending. I like the look! I used the Garden Grandeur Slim Line Coordinating Die to cut out the cluster and started working on a background. I used LDRS Creative Blending Brushes to blend Prickly Pear Perfection, Lantern Yellow, and Fandango Hybrid Inks over the Brocade Stencil. I loved the background, but things blended together since I used the same colors on the background as I used in my flowers. No worries! I have a fix for that! I cut a piece of vellum to be slightly smaller than my card panel and added my Garden Grandeur stenciled image on top of that. The vellum tones down the background just enough!

All that's left is a sentiment! I used Raven Hybrid Ink to stamp a sentiment from the Garden Grandeur Slim Line Stamp Set in the middle of my cluster to complete my card. Thanks for joining me!
