Simon Hurley create. | Distressed Tree Farm Background

Christmas in July is technically over - but that just means that actual Christmas will be here before we know it! I like to get a head start on my Christmas cards. I actually make them all through the year! I have a simple design using some of my favorite Simon Hurley create. stamps!

Faux watercoloring hidden behind heat embossing is one of my favorite techniques! I stamped a portion of the Tree Farm Background Stamp with Fake Plant and Midnight Snack Dye Inks and sprayed it with a Distress Sprayer to let the ink bleed. Then I stamped the image once more and heat embossed it with white powder. I love how it creates a shadow effect!

I stamped a few images from the Snazzy Snowmen Stamp Set onto Stark White Cardstock and colored them with Copics. I cut them out and added them to my background with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment in the corner from the Snazzy Snowmen Stamp Set with Game Over Ink to finish off the card. Thanks for joining me!
