Pink & Main | Fancy Floral Cover Die

Are you ready for a simple card with LOTS of easy color? Yes? Me too!! I used just a few products from Pink & Main to make this quick card.

Let's start with the background. Guess what?! It's patterned paper!! It's from the new Sunshine and Smiles 6x6 Paper Pad and it's WONDERFUL!! I cut it to be the size of a standard A2 card and adhered it to my card base. Now I need something pretty to go on top! I did a bit of die cutting using the Fancy Floral Cover Die. I die cut the cover plate a total of four times - twice from heavy white cardstock and twice from heavy black cardstock for dimension. I glued both white die cuts together and then both black die cuts together. Gluing two of the Fancy Floral Cover Die together gives each die cut more stability. Then I glued the black frames on top of the white ones and slightly offset them so I would have a little shadow.

I stamped out a sentiment from the Wildflowers Stamp Set and used the coordinating Wildflowers Dies to cut out the "wildflowers" and added them to the card with Darice Foam Strips. These are perfectly sized to fit behind all those little areas!

I added some clear liquid shimmer all over the Fancy Floral Cover Die so that it would sparkle and shine. That's all! This card is so simple with the Sunshine and Smiles striped paper background, but I love it!
