LDRS Creative | Country Kitchen and Barnyard Bunnies Interactive Card

Can we just talk about how much I love the interactive stamps and dies from LDRS Creative? The Country Kitchen Stamp and Die Sets from the Summer 2020 Release are just PERFECTION! I paired them with the Barnyard Bunnies Stamp Set for a cute little farm kitchen peek-a-boo card!

Seriously ... how cute are the little Barnyard Bunnies critters in this Country Kitchen? Ahh I just get so happy when I see all the little critters popping out of the cabinets! And the best part is how easy it is to make this interactive card! The Country Kitchen Stamp Set and Country Kitchen Die Set do ALL the work!

I stamped the kitchen from the Country Kitchen Stamp set and a whole bunch of critters from the Barnyard Bunnies Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Raven Hybrid Ink and colored them with alcohol markers. Believe it or not - this was the hardest part of the whole card! Deciding which colors to use to color all of my images is the most stressful part of cardmaking for me haha!

Once all of the images were colored I die cut them with the coordinating dies. The Barnyard Bunnies Die Set is straight forward and works just like the coordinating stamp and die sets we're all used to. The Country Kitchen Die Set is a bit different - I used two dies to cut out the kitchen - one to cut out the outline of the kitchen and one to create the cut and score lines for the cupboards and cabinets to open. The dies are very easy to line up - just tape them in place so that they don't shift while you die cut them.

I needed a cute background for my Country Kitchen mini scene to sit on, so I used one of my most used stencils - the Waffle Cone Stencil! I blended Pistachios-a-Plenty Hybrid Ink over the Waffle Cone Stencil and then cut the background with a decorative edge die from the Scalloped Rectangle Frames Die Set.

All that's left to do is arrange all of my little Barnyard Bunnies critters in my Country Kitchen scene! I ended up die cutting a second Country Kitchen outline and gluing my interactive piece to the backer so that you couldn't see straight through the kitchen to the background of the card.

I added my Country Kitchen to the stenciled background and stamped a sentiment from the Country Kitchen Stamp Set with Raven Hybrid Ink below the images. I hope you're enjoying the Summer 2020 Collection from LDRS Creative! I can't wait to see your Country Kitchen cards!
