I just LOVE the Rose Heart die! It looks like a gorgeous stained glass rose! I decided to do a bit of die cut inlay with multiple colors of cardstock to play up the stained glass effect. I die cut the Rose Heart die from two colors of red cardstock and the leaves from two colors of green cardstock. I also cut the dies from white cardstock to have a white outline. I simply used liquid glue to puzzle piece the die cut pieces in place.
I needed a big bold sentiment, so I grabbed the Haley Alphabet stamp set from a previous release and stamped the letters to form the word "hello" with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I glued the leaves flat onto the card and popped up the Rose Heart with foam tape. This card needed a little - or a lot! - of bling, so I added some white iridescent gems all over my card.
There are so many fun techniques you can do with the Rose Heart die! I hope this gives you some inspiration! And remember to hop through the rest of the blogs for even more inspiration with the April release from i-crafter!
