Using Small Images to Build a Background

Hello hello! I have a bit of inspiration for you using products from the Simon Hurley Create. release that will be available later this month!

I made a short video showing you the process behind this card. It's really quite simple! The Encouraging Words stamp set has some absolutely FABULOUS large sentiments, but it also has a bunch of amazing tiny images! I stamped my images from the Encouraging Words stamp set with a variety of Simon Hurley Create. dye inks on a piece of Stark White Cardstock. I used all of the new ink colors along with a couple of the pre-existing ink colors. The new ink colors coming later this month are Piggyback, Guppy, Sike!, Minty Fresh, Tropical Tango, and Crown Me. The older colors I used are Rosy Cheeks and Remember Me. The six new colors not only coordinate so well with themselves, but with the rest of the ink line as well!

After my whole background was filled with small stamped images I stamped a sentiment from the Encouraging Words stamp set in the center of the card. I decided to tie in the black sentiment somewhere else on my card, so I trimmed down a small portion of my panel and mounted it onto a black piece of cardstock. I created a top folding A2 card from Stark White Cardstock and adhered my panels on top.

I hope this gives you some inspiration and makes you look at the smaller images in your stamp sets a different way! Thanks for joining me!
