The new Slimline Scallop Die Set makes it SO SO SO easy to create slimline cards! They seem to be all the rage! And it's so fun to get business sized envelopes that aren't bills! Haha! The Slimline Scallop Die Set has the option to use the scallop border or not ... I'm obsessed with scallops so I needed to use it! I wanted to have a patterned paper background using the Farmer's Market 6x6 Paper Pack, but the papers weren't long enough. No problem! I picked a repeating pattern and matched it up and you can barely tell that I added an extra 2 inches or so of patterned paper to the background! Then I die cut the scallop frame from the Slimline Scallop Die Set and added that on top of the Farmer's Market patterned paper.
I stamped out all of the veggies from the Veggie Pals stamp set with Raven Hybrid Ink and colored them with alcohol markers. These little veggies are so happy! My 4 year old loves his veggies and laughs at these guys all the time! He thinks it's hilarious that there's a smiling carrot! Haha! I die cut them with the Veggie Pals dies and started arranging them on the front of the card. I thought they needed a little something else, so I die cut Country Fence twice and stretched them across the card and added the veggies in front with foam tape.
To finish the card I added a pop of red with a sentiment from the Veggie Pals stamp set with Kiss Me Red Hybrid Ink. I trimmed the sentiment into a banner and added it to the top of my card. I hope these last two days have given you lots of inspiration with the with the Spring 2020 Collection from LDRS Creative!
