Easy Ink Blended and Die Cut Valentine

Hello! The season of love and friendship is upon us! I love the new Open Hearts collection from LDRS Creative because you can make beautiful cards for anyone in your life! I used some of the new products and created a Valentine perfect for a friend, family member, or significant other!

I die cut the With All My Heart cover die from white cardstock. I've used the With All My Heart cover die to create a "white on white" textured background, but this time I wanted to mix things up a bit and throw in some color! I used Lipstick Jungle Hybrid Ink and an ink blending tool and lightly added ink over the die cut background. The With All My Heart cover die not only gives a gorgeous stitched border, but it gives embossed texture to the background. When I blended ink over the background the raised parts of the background picks up more ink than the depressed portions giving even more dimension. So easy!

I chose three patterns from the Love Birds 6x6 Paper Pack. I loved the floral patterns and chose one to go in the middle that coordinated with the florals. I die cut them with one of the dies from the Stitched Hearts die set and added them down the center of my ink blended background with foam tape. I love the variety of sentiments in the Anytime Stack stamp set. They're all perfect sentiments for the people we love! I stamped the Anytime Stack stamp set with Raven Hybrid ink and die cut the sentiments with the Sentiment Stack die and added one of the strips across the center of the middle heart.

I love that you can totally change the ink color and patterned papers to customize this design for anyone! Thanks so much for being here!
