Kindred Stamps January 2020 Release Peek - Stay Strong

Hello hello hello! Welcome to the first Kindred Stamps release of the new year! Yay! The new release will be available on January 24th. I used the new Stay Strong stamp set with a couple of older stencils from Kindred Stamps to create this fun card!

The Stay Strong stamp set has all of my favorite Greek characters! I've been waiting for them to make their appearance! I stamped out each of them and colored them with alcohol markers and trimmed them out with scissors. I decided to just use the guy and girl characters to create a fun Valentine's Day card.

I wanted to create a double stenciled background for my characters. I first adhered the Chevron Stencil to my card with Pixie Spray and blended some light gray ink over the stencil keeping the color concentrated on the outer edges and light in the middle. I peeled away that stencil and added the Hearts and Dots stencil on top of my inked background and added Bubblegum Glitz Glitter Gel to the center of the card. I love the contrast of the two mediums together!

I added my images as well as a sentiment from the Stay Strong stamp set with foam tape and that finishes my card! And if you're missing a certain flying horse in the stamp set don't fear!
