Stamping a Background with Dies

Hi! I love finding creative ways to use the things I have in my craft room and stamping with dies is one of my favorites! It's so easy to do!

I created by background with the moose die from the Erin Lee Creative Woodland die set. I die cut him from some sticky back fun foam and stuck the foam die cut onto an acrylic block so that I could use it as a stamp. I like to use pigment inks when stamping with foam die cuts because I find the ink transfers more easily, but you could definitely use dye inks if you want! I used Distress Oxide Antique Linen and stamped the moose die cut across my background and then trimmed the panel down a quarter inch so that there would be a nice border around the card.

I used some dark brown watercolor to add some ink spatters for texture in the background and foam mounted the panel onto a card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Can't Sentiment stamp set in brown ink onto my card base and heat embossed a coordinating sentiment onto brown cardstock and foam mounted it onto the card.

This card was so easy to make and I love how it turned out! Thanks for stopping by!
