I wanted to create a simple background that would keep the Frostbite Stencil as the showcase of my card, so I stamped the Painted Lines background stamp with Woof! dye ink onto some Simon Hurley Create. Stark White Cardstock. I used a second piece of cardstock and blended some ink over the Frostbite stencil. I used Rosy Cheeks, Remember Me, and Triple Berry dye inks and ink blending tools to add my color. I LOVE how the colors overlap and create a bunch of different colors!
Once I blended all of my inks over the Frostbite Stencil I used my scissors and cut around the stencil right up against the white outline of the large snowflake. I love fussy cutting stencils! I feel like I'm really stretching my supplies and using them in a creative way! I added a stamped sentiment from the Caroling Squad stamp set and added the snowflake onto my card with foam tape.
When I did my ink blending I used a large 6 x 6 inch piece of cardstock - big enough for the whole stencil! You could easily fussy cut the whole snowflake and cut it in half and get at least two cards super quickly! Here's a little video showing the process for this card!
