Faux Watercolored Stamped Background

Hi, everyone! I hope you're enjoying the sneak peeks for the August 2019 release from Pink & Main! This release is so fabulous! And tomorrow is the day! You'll soon be able to shop the whole release! I paired one of the new sentiment stamp sets with an older background stamp that has always been one of my favorites!

I love that Pink & Main is constantly creating new products that work so well with their older products! I love when things go together! The Butterfly Background stamp has always been one of my favorite Pink & Main stamps. It's absolutely gorgeous! And it goes FABULOUSLY with the new sentiment stamps being released this month! I inked up the Butterfly Background stamp with some blue, yellow, and pink inks and sprayed the stamp lightly with a mist of water and stamped onto a piece of watercolor cardstock. This gives me a quick and easy faux watercolored background in no time at all!

I (once again! Haha!) grabbed the Pen Pals 6 x 6 paper pad and picked out the blue/gray polka dot patterned paper and die cut the paper with a Stitched Rectangle Die. I also cut the butterfly background panel with a Stitched Rectangle Die. I used the new Grateful Greetings stamp set (releasing tomorrow!) for my sentiment. The large "thank you" has completely stolen my heart! The font is gorgeous! The sentiment is meant to be stamped on a horizontal line, but I decided that it would look better with my card design if I cut my stamp in half and stacked the sentiment vertically. I stamped a coordinating sentiment and die cut it with one of the new Sentiment Strip Dies.

I hope you enjoyed this easy card design! Remember that tomorrow (August 20th) you'll be able to shop the new release in the Pink & Main store! Happy shopping!
