This is the Life

Hey, everyone! Today I created an outdoor masculine card using just papers and cardstock stickers! ... and a bit of die cutting! Head over to the Scrapping for Less store to grab these papers and stickers! They're perfect for quick and easy guy cards!

The papers in the Campfire & Lakeside 6 x 6 paper pad from Photoplay are so fabulous! I love the color scheme! Blues, reds, and greens! Perfect for outdoor cards! I grabbed one of my favorite patterns - the fish pattern - and built my card around it! I die cut a plaid piece to be my background and trimmed down the fish piece to fit inside of the die cut background.

The At the Lake cardstock stickers from Paper House are so realistic! I knew I wanted to use the canoe and some accessories on my card, but they were getting lost. I used one of my favorite "sticker tricks"! I put the stickers down onto white cardstock and trimmed around the edge to leave a white border. This helps them stand out! I added the canoe, some plants, and the duck as well as the sentiment.
