Creating a spinner card is super easy - but it's easiest to explain in video rather than through a written tutorial, so if my ramblings don't make sense to you just check out my video below!

I started by stamping and coloring both the old and young witches and then die cut them with fancy oval dies. It's important to choose a die or shape that is a mirror image to make sure that they line up correctly since the pieces will be glued back to back.

I created my inked background with the Zebra stencil and some Distress Inks. Then I cut down the panel with a fancy scalloped rectangle die and I also die cut an oval from the center slightly larger than my die cut focal pieces. I also die cut the same large oval from the front of an A2 sized card. This will allow me to sandwich my spinner pieces between my stenciled piece and my card base. I added plenty of adhesive to the back of one of my witch die cuts and ran a piece of clear thread down the middle and placed the other piece on top to sandwich the thread in between the die cuts.

Then I added lots of adhesive to the back of my stenciled piece and added the clear thread down the middle and added it to my card front lining up the oval cut outs. This is the easiest way I can think of to create a spinner card! Just wind up the thread, close the card, and when you open it the ovals in the center spin around! Super fun!

I didn't want to busy the front of my card with a sentiment, so I stamped one on the inside of my card hidden behind the oval spinner element. Here's my video!

Thanks for watching! Remember to leave a comment on this blog for your chance to win a $10 credit to the Kindred Stamps store!
