Scrapping for Less May 2019 FOTM Card Kit Reveal

Hey, everyone! I hope you're ready to see what Scrapping for Less has in store for the May 2019 Flavor of the Month card kit! It's a GREAT one this month! The theme is myths and legends and this kit has some of my favorite papers! I have my unboxing video showing everything you'll get in the kit at the end of this post as well as my 5 cards 1 kit video!

Our Myths and Legends blog hop begins at the Scrapping for Less blog. There, you will find the complete lineup. AND…make sure you enter the Rafflecopter. You can find the new kit for May on the Subscription page as well as great photographs of the contents of the kit. Make sure to grab yours fast as it may sell out quickly! Thanks for joining us today! Happy Crafting! P.S. for some fun facts on the elements and origins of the myths and legends of this month's kit head to the Scrapping for Less blog for some little tidbits about our legendary elements.

As always there are two ways to purchase your kit - The Double Dip subscription or the Banana Split subscription. The Banana Split is TOTALLY worth it for the extra goodies! This month there's an embossing folder, some glitter, and a FULL SIZED stamp set from Scrapping for Less! The stamp set has the CUTEST book image and coordinating sentiments for the stamps in the rest of the kit!

You can find the sketches for this kit (and past ones, too!) in the downloads section at the Scrapping for Less store!

I used each sketch pictured above and made a card from each collection in the kit as well as a card with the bonus pack of goodies! Scroll to the bottom of this post to watch my process video!

There were some kraft tags in collection 1 and I wanted to use them since I rarely make anything other than a card. I trimmed some patterned paper and some kraft cardstock from my stash and added them to the bottom of my tag. I love the little Loch Ness Monster stamp from Kindred Stamps! I colored her in shades of turquoise and added a heat embossed sentiment and some Simply White Nuvo Drops.

Did I say how much I LOVE the patterned papers this month?! I do! I love them! Love love love them! The ones in the first collection and this one (the second collection) are my favorites! The Pretty Little Rainbow Papers have a watercolor feel - and if you know me then you know I love watercolor and rainbows! I used layered up some of the papers for my background and stamped and colored the Pegasus stamp to be my focal image.

Collection three has the cutest fairy stamps from Avery Elle! I stamped and colored her skirt, wings, and the little lightning bugs with some Nuvo Jewel Drops. Check out my video to see how! Then I layered up some stitched die cuts and added some twine and sequins.

The meadow background paper is one of the best things I've seen from this kit! It's perfect! A ready made background! I didn't need to do anything fancy to make this card fabulous! I just stamped a sentiment and colored the little gnomes!

I just LOVE the extra stamp set in the Banana Split level kit! The book image and sentiments are so cute! I used some papers from the second collection to create the background for my card and for the book. I stamped the book onto the paper and trimmed it out and added the little monster from the Kindred Stamps set and a simple sentiment!

Check out my unboxing video below to see everything you'll get in this kit!

And here's my 5 cards 1 kit video!
