Scrapping for Less April 2019 FOTM Card Kit Reveal

Hey, everyone! It's time to introduce the April 2019 Flavor of the Month card kit from Scrapping for Less! At the end of this post I'll have my unboxing video as well as my 5 cards 1 kit video! And now here's a word from Teresa!

"Spring is Here! Finally! I know some of you in the northern states and other parts of the world may not be experiencing warm weather, so you can pretend with these beautiful stamps and spring papers. Our April Flavor of the Month kit is all about "Spring Critters" cute ones at that! So hop on along and get inspired to make some spring cards with this adorable kit. Head to the brand new website's Subscription page and see what we have to offer this month. Make sure to check out our Blog Hop so you can join in our Rafflecopter. All winners are announced each month in the Teresa Talks post on the blog on the first of the month."

As always there are two ways to purchase the kit. Pictured above is the Double Dip Sundae - you'll get the cardstocks, envelopes, and 4 collections!

Today I'm working with the Banana Split level card kit! You'll get everything pictured above - cardstock, envelopes, 4 collections, as well as a bonus pack of goodies! Trust me it's worth the upgrade!

As always, you can find the sketches for this month in the Downloads section of the Scrapping for Less website! Let's jump into my cards!

As always, I've made one card with each collection and a 5th card using the bonus pack of goodies. I used one of the sketches for each card except the bonus card.

Let's start with the first collection! This card is quite possibly my favorite! I just love the patterned papers and stamps in this collection! Super light and cute!

I think the sketch I used for this card using products from the second collection was one of my favorites! I rarely think to use diagonal elements on my cards and I love how this one turned out!

If you watch my video you'll see the mess I made trying to make this card! Haha! In the end I like how it turned out! And those papers are some of my favorite! They are SFL exclusive papers and they're WONDERFUL!

Oh the plaids in the fourth collection! They're AMAZING!! So amazing! And the little ducky from the SFL stamp set is the cutest!!

For my bonus card I decided to mix and match products from a few different collections. I didn't use the frog stamps from the third collection and he's just so cute that I had to use him! But I absolutely LOVE the extra sentiment stamp set in the Banana Split level kit, so I used that sentiment! The papers are from the third collection and the cloud sticker is from the fourth!

Check out my videos below! The first is my unboxing video where you'll get an up close look at what's in the kit. The second is my 5 cards 1 kit video where you'll see just how I made each of these cards! Thanks for watching! Keep scrolling to see the blog hop order and participate in the hop! See you next time!

  1. All are beautiful cards. I am especially impressed with how you used that bold floral pattern paper in collection 2 without it being over busy. I saw that sheet in the previews and I loved the bold colors, but wondered how it could be used enough to see the colors and pattern together without blinding you when you look at it. And the neutral color sentiment and musical paper were a great mix. I like your use if that sketch too on that card. It's a totally different looks than others with your paper choices. Of course, I'm also in love with your duck collection card. The duck and the plaid are my favorites too.

But my favorite of all your cards is the collection 2 one...for all the reasons I said before. Just simply lovely.
