Pink & Main April Release Sneak Peek

Hello, everyone! I'm SO excited about the April release from Pink & Main! Today I'm sharing a peek at one of my favorite stamp sets from this release! Even though I'm not a hot beverage drinker, I've always loved tea pots and tea cups. The Tea-rific stamp set is so stunningly gorgeous! I love the intricate tea pots! I quickly created a set of 6 cards with some spring colored cardstocks and heat embossing!

I used my MISTI to create this card set making it super easy to stamp and heat emboss assembly line style! I grabbed two pieces of white cardstock and four colors of colored cardstocks and started stamping!

The green and pink are my favorite! I stamped them with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white powder. I used a white pencil to go along the edges and give each of the images a shadow. In the end I'm not sure if the shadow made my cards better or not, but I certainly wasn't going to ditch them!

I also love the purple and teal backgrounds! I used two different sentiments and stamped each one three times so that I had three cards with each sentiment. I trimmed them to banner edges and popped them up with foam tape.

I was going to just do a set of 4 colored backgrounds, but I needed some white in this set! So I stamped a background with black ink. Then I decided I wanted to do a tone on tone background with white cardstock and pearl embossing powder. I didn't clean my stamps well enough when I used the black ink and when I stamped my card ( on the left ) with Versamark ink some of the black ink transferred over giving me a really pretty light gray color. I love how it looks with the pearl embossing powder! For these two backgrounds I used a N0 Copic marker to add some shading. I think the card on the left looks blurry because the pearl embossing powder and the shadow threw off my camera! It looks super cool in real life - and slightly blurry in photos. Sorry about that!!

I hope you'll try out this super fun way of creating a set of cards! And make sure you check out the Tea-rific stamp set as well as the rest of the April 2019 release!
