Happily Ever After Stenciled Wedding Cards

Hi, Everyone! I love the Happily Ever After stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs, don't you?! I paired it with the Stained Glass Roses stencil from Kindred Stamps. The two are perfect together!

I started by using the Stained Glass Roses stencil on a piece of heavy weight cardstock. I used my Life Saving Blending Brushes to blend on some Candied Apple and Crushed Olive Distress Inks. The blending brushes were super helpful because it was easy to add color to different areas of the stencil.

I colored my image from the Happily Ever After stamp set with Spectrum Noir markers and stamped a sentiment at the bottom of my stenciled piece.

I love creating "bonus cards" while I have my supplies out. After I had completed my first card I went to clean off my stencil and decided to put that leftover ink to good use. I spritzed the ink that was left on the Stained Glass Roses stencil with a mist of water and pressed some watercolor cardstock on top. I love the effect!

I didn't want to cover up the background, so I simply stamped a sentiment from the Happily Ever After stamp set and left it at that! Thanks for stopping by!
