Easy Masking and Ink Blending

Hello! I have some tips for easy masking with die cuts and a video using some products from the February 2019 Flavor of the Month card kit from Scrapping for Less!

I used the rolling pin die from LaLa Land Crafts and die cut it from some full stick post it notes. Here's my tip! I used a stack of 5 post it notes so that I didn't have to die cut a bunch of the rolling pins - I just kept the post it notes held together and die cut the rolling pin 4 times from the stack of post it notes. This gives me 20 die cut masks from just 4 passes through my Big Shot! Yay for saving time! I easily peeled the layers apart and pressed them onto a sheet of Bristol smooth cardstock. Then I blended on some Distress Inks - Spun Sugar at the top, then Picked Raspberry, and Ripe Persimmon at the bottom. I kept the masks in place and flicked on some water. When I removed the masks I was over the moon with how pretty this background is! I used the Baking Marci stamp set and stamped the sentiment three times onto black cardstock, added some shimmer to the sentiments strips, and popped them up with foam tape.

I used the silver hearts from Pink & Main and scattered them across my background to complete my card! I hope you'll watch my video below!
