Hi, everyone! I'm so honored and excited to be a part of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags this year! Of course I'm representing Pink & Main! I created a set of two tags using the Sweet Christmas and Pattern Maker stamp sets along with some Distress Ink blending!
I hope you'll check out the rest of the Christmas tags inspiration from Pink & Main today! You can find everything on Tracey's blog - In My Creative Opinion! There is SO much more inspiration to come! There's a different sponsor each day!
I started my tags by die cutting some 110lb cardstock using a Stitched Top Note die from Pink & Main. I wanted to create some custom backgrounds, so I used four images from the Pattern Maker stamp set. I used my Misti so that I could easily create the matching stamped backgrounds. I used gold heat embossing powder for one and silver for the other. Then I blended on some Distress Inks - Candied Apple and Aged Mahogany for the red and Evergreen Bough and Pine Needles for the green.
I stamped a bunch of images from the Sweet Christmas stamp set and colored them with real brush watercolor markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also stamped out a sentiment and trimmed them into banner edges.
I arranged all of my images and my sentiment strip onto the die cut tags. I used a mini staple to attach some shimmery tulle to the tops and added a bow with some bakers twine as well.
I hope you've enjoyed these tags! I think they're just the cutest! I can't wait until Christmas so that I can use them! Remember to check out Tracey's blog for more inspiration!
Beautiful tags - I love the embossed backgrounds. Very sweet, and festive!
