Hello! Today I have a card using the Happy Hippos stamp set from My Favorite Things and some Distress Oxide Inks!
I started by watercoloring with some Distress Oxide Inks - Fossilized Amber and Peacock Feathers. I let them overlap in the middle to make a pretty green! Once they were dry I used a diagonal stripes stencil and applied some white pigment ink over the top. I just wanted a subtle pattern and I love how the white ink reacted with the Oxide Inks and picked up some of the colors!
I watercolored the hippo and his accessories and popped them up with foam tape! A simple sentiment and this clean and simple card is done!
