Mass Produceable Ornament Cards.

Hi!! I have another set of cards featuring the Snowman add on stamp set from Studio Calico's The Underground release for this month. I was looking at the card I shared yesterday and tried to make it more mass produceable! Is that a word? Haha...I don't know...but I wanted to make it easy to make multiple of them! So I changed things around just a little bit! There's a video at the end of the blog post, too!

Here's a quick look at the three cards that I made. I started with the same setup as last time. three A2 sized cards, and a piece of silver paper from The Paper Studio cut to give a 1/4 inch frame around the card, and a piece of white cardstock to serve as my statement piece.

I embossed the hooks in Recollections silver fine detail embossing powder and then stamped my ornaments in Studio Calico inks - Clean Slate, Purple Rain, and Well Red. I used Zing White Opaque embossing powder to dress up the ornaments a bit.

I took the sentiment from a Mama Elephant stamp set - Believe in the Magic (one of my favorite Christmas stamp sets!). I embossed the sentiment in Recollections fine detail silver embossing powder (the same as I used for the hooks). I love how it gives a nice shine to the sentiment!

I took a piece of Recollections glitter tape and placed it next to my statement piece. I used more of my homemade red glitter paper to add more of the red to my card. To make the paper I squished my embossing ink pad onto a piece of red Bazzil paper and then sprinkled on my Recollections glitter embossing powder (in Glitz) and heat embossed it to set the glitter. I cut a strip of the paper and adhered it on top of the glitter tape for a more balanced look.

I wanted to add a few more embellishments, so I used some silver enamel dots on one and some pearls on another. And I left one plain! (Click on the photos above to enlarge them). Which one do you like the best? Leave me a comment and let me know!

I have a quick little bonus card to share with you!

I used a lot of the same products for this card! The starry background paper came from the December 2013 paper pad from Studio Calico. I received this pad in a grab bag and I just love this paper! I used my quarter inch rounder on my Corner Chomper on all of the corners on my card. I used a piece of Neenah solar white cardstock and blended some SC inks around the edges. I used Something Blue at first...and didn't like the look. So, I went over it with Emerald City. I kind of made my own color! I quite like it! I heat embossed my ornament hooks in silver and stamped the ornaments in Going Green, Purple Rain, and Clean Slate. I used more of that glitter tape and some silver enamel dots. I used some Heidi Swapp letters to spell out "JOY".

That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by! I've been super busy with this kit! I love it so much! I'll be back soon with more projects!
