Intro to Oh Christmas Tree Impress-ion Letterpress Dies

BIG NEWS!! There will be NEW Impress-ion Letterpress Dies in the Fall, Winter, and Holiday 2023 Collection! AHHH!!! These Impress-ion Letterpress Dies are absolutely AMAZING! You use them to press a design into your cardstock giving you a detailed impression that is sure to WOW! 

** Just a note - you DO need to use the Impress-ion Letterpress Dies with a letterpress platform. Using them with your regular die-cutting platform and cutting plates will damage your cutting machine. **

I used the Betterpress platform and centered the Oh Christmas Tree Impress-ion Dies into the center of the A2 area and inked up the tree with Evergreen Hybrid Ink. I pressed the image into LDRS Creative Watercolor Cardstock and then removed the tree from the platform, added the star, inked with Dan-D-Lion Hybrid Ink, and ran the piece through my machine once again. I used a red alcohol marker to add some color to the garland and spattered the cardstock with gold shimmer watercolor.

I cut the Merry Christmas Word Dies from gold foil cardstock and the shadow from vellum. I layered them together and glued them towards the bottom of my card. I trimmed the background and added it onto a gold foil card base. That's it! Make sure you come back tomorrow for another sneak peek video.
