One of the great things about the layering stamps, stencils, and dies from LDRS Creative is that you can use one, two, or all three! I decided to go with all three for this project. I share my own preferences for making layering stencils easy to use in my video, so be sure to check it out! I used the Thankful Flowers Slimline Layering Stencils along with Dan-D-Lion, Iced Tea, Tangerine Dream, In Your Face Orange, Little Boy Blue, Swimming Hole, and Olive Branch Inks. You don't have to have a bunch of inks to use layering stencils. Remember that you can use a light hand and a heavy hand when blending to "change" the saturation of ink. I only used one color of green in my bouquet, but you'd never know! Once my blending was complete I lined up the Thankful Flowers Slimline Stamp over my blending and stamped the outline with Coffee Bean Hybrid Ink. I lined up the Thankful Flowers Slimline Die Set and cut out my large bouquet.

LDRS Creative | Thankful Flowers Slimline Card
As much as I love bright colors, sometimes I'm drawn to a more muted color palette. I love how you can customize the LDRS Creative Thankful Flowers Slimline stamps and layering stencils to fit your coloring mood!
I knew that I wanted to create a simple card, but fancy it up a bit. That's my style! I reached for the Songbird Fields Slimline Paper Pack and the Elegant Stitched Frames Slimline Die Set. I used the two layering dies to cut out a few patterns of paper and the outer die to cut a white card base and layered my papers and bouquet onto the shaped card base.
I love stacking up sentiment strips to combine sentiments, so I stamped the Happy Me, Happy You Sentiment Stack and cut out the strips with the Sentiment Stack II Die Set and added two strips to the center of my card with foam tape to finish the card. You could easily make a bunch of these and give them as a gift! I hope you have a great day!
