Pink & Main | Mugs and Kisses Sneak Peek

Things are cozy and cute in my sneak for the Pink & Main September release! These mugs are DEFINITELY on my favorites list this Christmas! All the products I used on today's card (and more!) will be available September 20th in the Pink & Main store!

There are so many new items packed into this shaped card! This whole release is amazing and I just couldn't pick what to use, so I used all my favorites! I stamped the reindeer and Santa mugs along with some whipped cream and marshmallows from the Mugs and Kisses Stamp Set, colored them, and then die cut them with the coordinating Mugs and Kisses Die Set. This is absolutely my favorite stamp set of the release and I knew immediately that I wanted to use these images on my card.

You may not know it, but my not-so-secret weakness is snowflakes! I LOVE them! I used an Ergonomic Blending Brush to add some light blue ink over the new Blizzard Stencil and then used a die from the Stitched Arches Die Set (also new!) to cut out the panel. You could add this gorgeous arch to a regular card, but my favorite technique for nesting dies is to create a shaped card. I die cut two panels of light blue cardstock using the largest die in the Stitched Arches Die Set, scored one of the pieces about 1/2" from the top, and then adhered both pieces together. It's the easiest way I know to create a shaped card! I added the stenciled piece onto the shaped card with foam tape and then the colored mugs on top.

I had a sentiment strip stamped from the Mugs and Kisses Stamp Set ready to go, but I thought I needed one more piece to complete the card. I used a slightly darker blue cardstock and die cut the new Christmas Greetings Die from it and the backer from vellum to help it stand out from the snowflakes in the background and adhered the pieces together below my mugs. That completes my card sneaking the new September release! Check back each day for more sneaks and then check out the full reveal on September 20th!
