Pink & Main | Wishing You Well Butterflies

I'm totally head over heels for butterflies! I mixed and matched a couple of Pink & Main butterfly themed stamp sets for this summery card! 

I can't tell you why, but I always have equate butterflies with yellow and blue, so if I make a butterfly card you can bet I will incorporate those colors! I started with a piece of yellow cardstock and temporarily adhered the Flora Stencil over the top. I used an Ergonomic Blending Brush to add some yellow/orange ink over the top keeping the ink darker at the bottom and lighter towards the top. 

The Dearest Friend Stamp Set is just gorgeous! I LOVE the large butterfly image! I stamped it hanging off the right side of the card with a black pigment ink and heat embossed it with clear powder for some shine. I had intended to leave this card monochromatic with a pop of black, but I couldn't resist adding some bright colors! I stamped a few butterflies from the Butterfly Sketches Stamp Set and colored them with Copic Markers then cut them out with the coordinating Butterfly Sketches Dies. 

I stamped a sentiment from the Butterfly Sketches Stamp Set and bubble cut around it with my scissors and added it to the card with foam tape. I love how it turned out and I hope you do too!
