Simon Hurley create. | Flower Power Stenciled Background

I LOVE a good background, don't you! They are my favorite part of card making! I used the Flower Power Stencil from Simon Hurley create. to make this bright and happy Springtime background!

This card is another one that is SO easy to recreate! And you could use any colors that you want! I went with simple primary colors, but any would work! I taped the Flower Power Stencil onto a piece of Stark White Cardstock and used finger blending brushes to add my ink so that I could get into the small areas. I didn't take any care to mask, so some of my ink got where it "shouldn't" be, but I am TOTALLY okay with it!

I used Overzealous for the leaves, Slippery When Wet and Guppy for the yellow flowers, Rosy Cheeks and Prom Queen for the pink flowers, and Clear Skies with Remember Me for the blue flowers. I added some black ink spatters just because .... well .... I like them!

I finished the card by trimming the panel and mounting it with foam onto a card base, adding a sentiment from the Sentimental Flowers Stamp Set, and some clear bubbles. I'll see you again soon!
