Erin Lee Creative | Be Yourself

Well hello! This is just your friendly reminder to be yourself - even if you're a little weird!

I love to create layers and depth on my cards while still keeping them mail-able. Ink blending and stencils are a great way to do that! I blended a circle of a lemon-y yellow ink onto my card base and then placed the Erin Lee Creative Sunburst Stencil over the top and blended a mustard yellow ink on top of that. The stencil has etch marks in the stencil making it easier than ever to line up the stencil directly in the center of my card. The two layers of yellow ink give a lot of depth with no added bulk!

One of my favorite color combinations is yellow and black. The contrast between the two colors is amazing and classy! I stamped the large image from the Winter Magic Stamp Set in the center of my card using a black pigment ink and then heat embossed it with clear powder. Now I have two layers of ink blending, stamping, and heat embossing without any bulk, but there is so much dimension!

I stamped a sentiment from the Stripe Sentiments Stamp Set and die cut it with the coordinating Stripe Die and added it with foam to my card. You could definitely add the strip to the card with glue, but I've found cards go through the mail fine with just one little popped up element. I added some gems around my card design for another bit of shine and texture and this card is finished! Thanks for stopping by!
