Hello everyone! There's a new release from Erin Lee Creative that just hit the shop and we are celebrating with a blog hop! You'll find lots of inspiration along the way and have a chance to with a prize, too! Leave a comment at each stop in the hop and TWO lucky winners will be drawn to win a $50 gift card to the Erin Lee Creative shop! Winners will be announced on the Erin Lee Creative Blog on Monday October 26th!
Masculine cards are something that I truly struggle with, and a bunch of other crafters must as well because it's one of my most requested designs! I grabbed a few new Erin Lee Creative release items and gave it a shot!
I masked off the center of the new Quilted Stencil with some masking paper and blended on some dark and light brown inks. I love how easy it is to change the look of this stencil! I stamped the mountain range from the Stay Wild Stamp Set and gave it just a bit of Copic coloring - not too much! I wanted to keep the card simple!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Remember to leave a comment here and on the rest of the blogs in the hop for your chance to win a gift card to the Erin Lee Creative Shop! Good luck to everyone!
Hi, Lynnea - Agreed. Men's cards are a challenge. I always end up w/ a fishing theme, a mountain/river theme, a lighthouse/sailboat theme or a geometric design. You've kind of combined my go-tos by putting a mountain inside a geometric design. I like your card a lot and if I win, maybe I can try to replicate it. Thank you for sharing! Lori S in PA
Spectacular!! Very dramatic card from simple, direct techniques!!! Bravo! Thanks so much for this video - the use of stencil, stamp & die - so excited to copy & adapt your creative genius! Following!!!🙌🙏🤩
I really like this card! My husband is always asking for gift cards for work- retirement, job change, moving, etc. Such a great idea masking the stencil and creating space for the image and sentiment!
I really like this masculine card. I always get stuck when trying to think of making cards for men. The more I see the quilted stencil, the more I want it!! Thanks for the inspiration!
Love what you created! It is such a fun and unique design.
