i-crafter | Leaves Are Falling

The temperatures are FINALLY starting to drop where I live! And I know what comes next! The crisp afternoons, falling leaves, and the very air itself smells like apples! The Leaves Are Falling Stamp Set from i-crafter was just calling my name!

I used some fun techniques on this card, so check out the video above for a detailed step by step! I show you an easy way for tone on tone stamping, Copic coloring, and partial diecutting!

I used watermark ink to stamp a bunch of leaves from the Leaves Are Falling Stamp Set all over a piece of dark brown cardstock for a tone on tone look. I also stamped one additional leaf onto Neenah cardstock and colored it with Copics. I used a circle die from the Dashed Circles Flip Card Die Set to cut out the leaf. I also used the same Dashed Circles Flip Card Die Set to cut out a layering circle with the little punched circles detailed border. I needed to do a bit of special die cutting for this, which I detail in the video above.

I used the i-blend Blender Brushes to add a bit of brown ink to the leaf circle die cut for a bit of a distressed look. I love these little brushes! They are tiny little versions of blender brushes (not foam!) and are just perfect! I finished off the card with a stamped sentiment strip from the Leaves Are Falling Stamp Set. Thanks for joining me!
