The Gift Bag die set makes it SUPER easy to create a little treat bag for small gifts. And it's really simple to assemble! Watch my video above to see just how easy!
I heat embossed the large background stamp from the Special Gift stamp set - this stamp set will be available soon! All the craziness in the world has delayed the stamp a little, but trust me! It's worth the wait! I heat embossed the stamp with white embossing powder on two separate pieces of cardstock. I used the Ergonomic Blending Brush from Pink & Main to blend some yellow, green, and blue ink over both pieces of cardstock. I die cut the Gift Bag die twice - once from each piece of blended cardstock - and assembled my gift bag.
I stamped and heat embossed two sentiments from the Special Gift stamp set onto white cardstock and used an Ergonomic Blending Brush to blend some yellow ink over the sentiment. I trimmed it into a banner and added it to the front of the gift bag with foam tape. And look at that! A fun little gift bag!
I had all of the supplies out, so why not make an adorable card to match the gift bag!? I stamped and white heat embossed the background image from the Special Gift stamp set and blended the same yellow, green, and blue inks onto the front of the card with an Ergonomic Blending Brush. To add something special to the card I flicked some water onto the inks for texture.
Just like for my gift bag - I heat embossed a sentiment from the Special Gift stamp set and blended some yellow ink over it. I thought the card looked a bit empty with just the sentiment strip, so I colored the cutest little bee image from the Bee Day stamp set and cut it out with the Bee Day die set. I added the image and sentiment strip to the card with foam tape. There you have it! An easy matching card and gift bag set!
