i-crafter February Release Blog Hop

Hello, hello! Can you believe it's time for i-crafter's second release! i-crafter is a brand new company that just debuted at Creativation 2020!! I have a pretty project using some of the February release items and then there's a super awesome blog hop happening where you can see a lot more inspiration using the February dies from i-crafter!

I used the new Cherry Blossom Bursts dies on my card. They are just gorgeous, don't you think? I die cut a bunch of the clusters from white cardstock and then smooshed a bunch of inks onto my work surface and sprayed them with water and dipped the Cherry Blossom Bursts die cuts into the pools of watercolor. The Cherry Blossom Bursts dies are awesome because they are so detailed! And parts of the dies are connected while others are separated and pop up! I created a simple yellow watercolor wash background and spattered some black ink on top. I added my watercolored Cherry Blossom Bursts dies on top, but only glued down the center of the dies so that the flowers would pop off of my card.

I wanted to have a simple, but bold sentiment. I die cut the "thanks" word from the Pop Up Wiper Insert five times and stacked the dies on top of each other for dimension. I glued it to the center of my card and added small black gems to the centers of the flowers. That completes my card! Hop through the rest of the links to see more inspiration from the team!

  11. Smooshing really is the best ways to color flowers! The color combination is unexpected but I love it! Stacking "Thanks" was inspired - really adds impact. Well done!
