Simon Hurley Create. Signature Designer for Creativation

Helllllooooo!! Can you BELIEVE that I'm at Creativation right now?! I can't! I truly can't! And even more amazing is that my project is on display at the Ranger and Simon Hurley Create. booth! That's absolutely CRAZY! I'm in shock. When I started getting serious about making cards a few years ago I never dreamed I would be a signature designer for a major company! I'm so in love with the new products from Simon Hurley Create. and so so so proud to be a designer on his team. Let's see what I made!

I used a combination of new and old dye inks from the Simon Hurley Create. line to create an ink blended rainbow background. I started with a piece of Stark White Cardstock cut to 5 x 7 inches and used round ink blending tools to apply ink to the cardstock. I started at the top with Piggyback, Rosy Cheeks, Guppy, Over the Moon, Minty Fresh, and ended with Tropical Tango at the bottom. Piggyback, Guppy, Minty Fresh, and Tropical Tango are 4 of 6 new ink colors from Simon Hurley Create. and will be available for purchase in February! I added some flicks of water onto my ink blended background and used a clean towel to pick up the excess water from the background.

The Puppy Pals stamp set is a large 6 x 8 stamp set from Simon Hurley's new release (available February 2020) and has a BUNCH of little puppy images! I have to admit - I'm not a dog person. I'm scared to death of them! Literally run like a little girl scared haha! So I've never really learned what breeds of dogs should be colored with what colors, so I totally winged it! Haha!

I cut out each of the little puppy heads and a couple of speech bubbles and arranged them around the outside of my card. I glued the puppies onto my card with liquid adhesive and the speech bubbles with foam tape for dimension. I created a 5 x 7 card base from a piece of Stark White Cardstock and glued my background onto the card. And that finishes my project for the Ranger and Simon Hurley Create. booth at Creativation 2020! I hope this inspires you! See you soon!
