Mixing Stencils with Patterned Paper

Hey, there! The new Pink & Main release is full of FABULOUS products to mix and match together!

I used the new Petals Stencil to create my pretty two-toned background. I added some purple ink the the inward tip of each petal and then went over the whole stencil with some pink ink to create my two toned background. I kept the pink ink darker towards the center and lighter towards the outer edge for even more dimension.

You could easily make the Petals stenciled background the focal point of a card - but I decided to go with even more flowers! I used a piece of patterned paper from the Fantastic Florals 6x6 Paper Pad and trimmed around the design and backed it with some vellum before popping it up in the bottom right corner of the card with foam tape.

i finished off my card with a stamped sentiment from the Spring Sentiments stamp set die cut with one of the Sentiment Strip Dies and some gems. I hope you like the look of mixing the Petals Stencil with the Fantastic Florals paper! See you soon!
