I started by adhering the new Garden Gate Stencil to a piece of black cardstock and adding some Black Gina K Designs Glitz Glitter Gel over the top. I absolutely LOVE to use black mediums on black cardstock! I think the texture is amazing!
While my background panel was drying I worked on my focal image. I stamped the floral image from the Gorgeous Vases stamp set with alcohol marker friendly ink and the vase with a light blue ink. I colored the bouquet and used the Gorgeous Vases coordinating dies to cut out the images and popped them onto the card with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the new Spring Sentiments stamp set and die cut it into a banner with the matching die from the Sentiment Strip die set.
