ThermOWeb and Pink & Main Collaboration - Mixing Flock and Foil

Hi, there! I am so super pumped about the ThermOWeb and Pink & Main collaboration! I have the honor and privilege of working with both of these amazingly fabulous companies and I'm always proud of the products they release! I'll be mixing up the Fa La Llama stamp set from Pink & Main with some Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets and Deco Foil Transfer Sheets!

I love to show you guys ways to get all the use you can out of your Deco Foil Flock and Deco Foil products. It makes me cry a little inside when I see crafters say that they can't use these fabulous products because they don't own a laminator when you totally can! All you need is some double sided adhesive! Double sided tapes work great, but my favorite product is iCraft Easy Cut 6x6 Adhesive Sheets because I can cut them to any size strip or even die cut the sheets! I use these adhesive sheets so often that I have a little pack set a side with just leftover pieces and today they came in handy!

I cut down strips of the Easy Cut Adhesive in three different widths - about a half inch, a quarter inch, and an eighth inch thick - and arranged them horizontally on my card. I picked out two new colors of Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets - Teal Waters and Pink Carnations - and some Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil to use for my project. I started with the Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil and removed the backing from every third strip of Easy Cut Adhesive. I cut down a piece of the foil to be slightly larger than my card base and laid it pretty side UP onto the adhesive. I have found that the best way to transfer the foil perfectly is to run it through my die cutting machine in a piece of typing paper folded in half ( used as a carrier sheet for protection from the cutting plates ). Once I had the foil transferred to my card I removed more of the adhesive backing and cut a piece of Pink Carnations Flock Transfer Sheet slightly larger than my card. Flock is opposite of foil - you want to add it over your adhesive pretty side DOWN and run it through a die cutting machine to use the pressure to transfer the flock into the adhesive. I repeated the process with the Teal Waters Flock Transfer Sheets to complete my background.

I colored the llamas and presents from the Pink & Main Fa La Llama stamp set to perfectly match the flock colors and die cut them with the coordinating Fa La Llama dies. Did you know that you can stamp onto Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets? I love the sentiments in the Fa La Llama stamp set! I picked one that would fit perfectly on one of the flock strips on my card and stamped it directly onto the flock with black ink. I added my llamas with a mix of iCraft 3D Foam Squares and iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive - my favorite! And that finishes my card! I hope you love this ThermOWeb and Pink & Main mashup and that these little llamas inspire you! See you again soon!
