Hi! I've never really been one to make interactive cards - but lately I've been obsessed with interactive card making dies! I created a super cute Halloween card using the Pink & Main Pull and Flip dies!
I stamped and colored a bunch of critters from the Less Tricks stamp set and die cut them with the Less Tricks dies. I picked out ones that would fit well onto the Pull and Flip dies. It's okay if they hang off the right a bit, but they need to fit on the square from top to bottom. Even these may be just a bit too tall, but I just did a little wiggle with the pull tab and everything works fine!
I picked out some of my favorite patterns from the Not Too Spooky 6x6 paper pad and die cut a background with the Stitched Rectangle 1 die set as well as a rectangle that would fit behind my Pull and Flip die mechanism. I die cut the main die from the Pull and Flip die set from black cardstock and the squares and scalloped squares from the Not Too Spooky 6x6 paper pad. I love that the patterns are double sided so both sides of my squares are pretty!
The Pull and Flip dies go together pretty easily - but if you need to see just how it's assembled Michelle did a video on the Pink & Main YouTube channel. I glued the squares onto the die mechanism and added my characters on top so that the characters would peek out from behind each other.
I stamped and heat embossed the spooktacular sentiment from the Fall Sentiments stamp set on the pull tab portion of the Pull and Flip die mechanism and adhered the final pieces to my card. So cute and fun, right! I LOVE how it turned out! Thanks for joining me!
