I stamped out my two favorite characters from the Lifesavers stamp set and colored them with my Copic markers. Watch my video above to see which colors I used! Once they were all colored I cut them out with my scissors leaving a small white border.
I die cut the My Favorite Things Slider Surprise die pieces from white cardstock, masked off the outer edge of the panel, and blended on Distress Inks through the Swirl Stencil onto the center portion. I reversed the mask so that I covered the stenciled inner portion and added blue inks to the outer portion. I also blended on some green inks to the pull tab part of the mechanism.
I wanted to add a bit more interest to the pull tab, so I stamped the bandages and the stethoscope with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I added the pull tab mechanism to my card with foam tape and pulled back on the tab and stamped the sentiment with blue ink. I added my doctors to the front of the card on the bottom portion of the "tent" part of the card. For tips and tricks on how I assembled my card watch my video at the top of this post!
I love how this card turned out! Remember to leave me a comment on this post by September 30th for a chance to win a $10 credit to the Kindred Stamps store! And you can head over to the Kindred Stamps store to pick up the new Lifesavers stamp set and more of the new release this Friday the 27th!
